Wasn't this supposed to be Ubisoft India's first game? If that's the case that must be a huge blow to what Ubisoft sees as the viability of their studio in India.
I always thought it was hilarious that they wanted to make a game solely based off the boat stuff from AC3 and 4 since I adamantly believed that the boat stuff in those games was 100% the worst part of any AC game. But apparently I'm in the minority and people really really loved all that boat stuff.
I think the minimum amount of I want from this game is for it to play better than The Outer Worlds. That game was really hyped up and it just kinda fell flat for me in the gameplay department so if all Bethesda muster up with this game is a planet hopping version of Fallout 4 then honestly that's fine with me, I'll play the hell out of that. But if they try to go something akin to Mass Effect and try to make this a more guided game with a more closed narrative then that'll be cool too I guess, I just want it to be fun to play.
Sounds like Deer Avenger 2, you may be misremembering the main character Bambo, who is an anthropomorphic deer that goes on a human tranquilizing spree to avenge his girlfriend. One of the levels takes place in a bar/restaurant type area.

I would honestly like to see a legitimate interview with some of the people at that studio, must be a wild ride working their game dev stuff as well as their animation team
I found the game to be boring and I regret buying it. It's also kind of an ugly brown blurry mess. I recently built a new PC with a RTX 3080 and a i7-12700k and although I can play the game on ultra w/ raytracing settings, I don't think I would recommend it. Anywhere in the game that has lots of swaying plants looks like garbage, and there are more places like that than you would think.
It's kind of crazy how ugly the game is! Like, it's so brown. And somehow RTX just makes everything look blurry and weird! I'm kind of surprised at how people are lauding it for being graphically impressive; it really is kind of off-putting visually in a lot of ways.
That said I'm having a solid time with it, so I'd say it's like an 8/10 if I had to judge.
It's so strange how odd everything looks in this game. I have RTX off right now since the DX12 RTX tanked my frame rate at 1440P but with standard lighting all the stuff during the day looks way too dark and everything during the nights way too bright.
I just need one more board collectible, and then I am 'finished' with the stages. But I will definitely try to get my age lower. Unfortunately that process will probably feel more aggravating than just beating the game, since a single death will hit much harder. But I will give it a go, since the game has been really fun so far.
The ending felt REALLY lackluster, but I might be missing something. There are a whole bunch of hidden trophies left. Hidden endings perhaps?
A bunch of the collectibles open up hidden areas in previous levels that are supposed to clue you in on the secret ending.
If you want to unlock to unlock it then play through the game without using the finishing move on the bosses the first time it happens during the second stage of the fight, then on the second instance they're open for the finisher you perform it like normal
I mean, it's pretty telling what this game is gonna be like when they immediately lowered the price drastically after that closed beta that happened a couple months ago.
