wow I don't know how sony did so well. I would wager if you ask the people who were actually at event score would have been incredibly low. I guess the benefit from only only showing 4 games is those games are huge titles that get people excited.

I'm a fallout fan and I am excited about 76. Some of the random things I heard places was if you build your base it goes with you has you get dropped into random server each time you start. If someone else has built something there than your base gets packed up and you can drop it somewhere else. This sounds odd, at some point I almost wish I could pack up my base every time, but instead it sounds like this only happens if someone else takes my spot. It was also said that all other player will be marked on your map at all time. The actual number of players per server seem to be between 12-28, I think I heard a few different things on that. The softcore survival term was used to say if someone kills you you will not lose progress or all your stuff, but there are still a lot of question to be answered. If I die do I keep everything I have? yes I keep all experience, but do I keep all my guns and loot or some/most? What is the reward for killing someone? If I kill other player I want to be able to loot them. They made nuke codes sound like something to fight over, so that some what implies if killed you would not keep code. The thing that I think I would would want is the option to stay in same server all the time or to leave server whenever. I could see getting into good group and not wanting anyone else messing with our world. Or everyone else in this world are dicks take me somewhere else, but maybe just stopping and restart game would accomplish that. It was said that you could have different players, so maybe you have one good guy, one bad guy, one trader? They talked about maybe someone would want to act has vendor and go around selling stuff, this seems odd to me. Not that someone would want to do it, but how? You going to rush to other players you somehow just bounce from server to server looking for someone who wants to trade? I guess a good question would be if there is any kind of global chat? There is emote wheel but that only seems to work if close by. I want to play it. I am even preorder just to get into beta. pre orders are stupid but if I can play for free to test it out than cancel maybe.

I've been have the same thoughts. After seeing guy at EA press conference talking about game and them still adding stuff, thought maybe I should get this. Is everything they are adding single player or multiplayer? or both? it's all free now, I believe cause of their fuck ups. Currently $18 on ps4. I've been holding off cause I just got AC origins. I do like star wars, and I'll probably get it at some point, but I try not to buy games till I know I'm going to play them. Who knows maybe by the time I get around to it next year it will be cheaper.. someday

The press conferences Sunday were great. Microsoft came out and said we got 50 game 16 exclusives and 18 premieres, I'm sure I have some other numbers wrong but I don't know what an exclusives is or premiere. They had all kinds of different games did a nice job touching on all them. I want to play gears, not gears pop but gears 5. The biggest issue I have with MS was the fact that I don't own an xbox and they didn't do anything to make think of buying one. Some kind of mention of hardware or new sku or price .. I don't know what. Sure they mentioned they have most powerful system available, but didn't get me to the point of maybe I should buy xbox. Maybe if sony really shits the bed I'll change my mind but that seems far fetched. This also goes to the idea of premiere vs exclusive? I know I will not be able to play Halo, gears 5 and forza everything else I'm going to assume I can get on ps4 or not interested in. Dying light 2 looked great, but I looked at its listed has ps4 too. I never played first one but what they should of two looked great, and depending on release date maybe I'll go back and look at first one.

Bethesda though I thought had a slightly better show, sure they had fewer games but they had deeper dive into some. Maybe its just cause I'm a fallout fan and Todd Howard talked for much longer than assumed he would. They gave release dates that were sooner than expected, nov 2018 for fallout 76, wow. They also named things that are 5 years out. Sure just say elder scrolls 6. I thought Sunday was great day and hope rest of E3 lives up to Sunday, Sunday Sunday.

@nevergameover: You showed twits from 5 people who all said the flying was fantastic, that may be great but it doesn't make game good. The best thing I can say of destiny was the shooting was near perfect. However even though I played through whole game I could care less or barely remember the story. Bioware is a victim of their own making, we all love their stories. We assume anthem will have grand story and immersive world. hopefully this is just a case of them not wanting to spoil anything before release. If they wanted to make loot shooter or multiplayer shooter than they should be more clear about their intent. They instead talk about the great story and world of anthem while at the same time never showing anything, is there dialog wheels? Each player has their own fort they return to between mission, which is single player only. They make mention that the choices you make will shape your fort but no clue what that really means, could be once you save npc they're there or fetch quest your way to better shop items..

today is new day and hopefully today's press conferences will give me more positive games to look forward to.

I actually feel like getting star wars battlefield 2 now. This seems like a AAA game that had problems but EA has tried to do everything they can to make good on mistakes. I was surprised to see someone talk about and for awhile it seemed at presser. I can now get game cheap under $20 and play through story if nothing else. I now woner how long they will continue to throw free stuff at this game they probably want to put behind them. Either way good for me I get good deal.

Also unravel two.

I'm very bored today and since anthem is the biggest game of E3 so far I've beeen looking for as much info as possible. Game informer has a bunch of stuff on it. Some things I've learned are, your base is single player, no one else will come there with you. So whatever choice there is in story that will be reflected in your base but you will be the only one who see it. Sounds like grouping up will not be that big of a problem and will not be limited much either. There is an opt in option if you are low level playing with someone higher up and so any story spoilers there could be is on you. There is also free play zone, I hate to compare everything to destiny but think patrol area, where you can random stroll around and kill stuff. This is also talked about has place you go to while your other party members go to their base, since you can't go with them. It's unclear how mission completion will count to different players. Yes, anyone can join your game but that mean you will get credit for doing mission, probably just XP and loot. I have not seen much loot yet either.

Also no guns work underwater.

I love bioware stories like dragon age and mass effect too. It seems odd there is no footage of dialog wheel or people talking somehow. Instead you have voice in your head, like ghost from destiny, telling you what to do next. Nothing about this would lead me to believe there are branching paths or decisions to be made. Choice and consequences are what made those other series great. I really hope Gb crew gets to play this and its not just video demo.

After EA press conference I am not interested in anthem any more. I wasn't over excited before cause there was nothing really to get excited about. I think it looks too much like destiny to me, which isn't a good thing. Its 4 didn't play classes each probably has two subclasses. You can get different skins for your armor too, wow big surprise, clearly EA has to cut micro transactions from most of their stuff, which is good. I like games were numbers pop out of guys heads (borderlands) but something about the short clip of actual game play looked too clustered. Nothing about game play made me think I need to play this; there seemed to be alot of killing fotter enemies. The background and stages looked great, player characters looked good, all enemies I saw looked like tiny trash. The biggest shock to me was that this is due out in February. I currently have no plans on getting this, but who knows maybe things will change. However if you're going to look this much like destiny you better say we have pin point shooting mechanics, the best part of destiny.
