Links working for me not sure why it isn't for others.

I studied abroad in Ireland and one of the things I legitimately miss is Buckfast. I've always enjoyed the taste of cough syrup, Buckfast tastes similar to NyQuil in my opinion, and the sweetness of it never bothered me. My Irish housemates were surprised since when they convinced me to try it they expected that I would hate it. Instead I ended up buying it fairly regularly during the six months I was there.

@456nto: If he wants to watch them in order of events that I would say the opposite. If you watch Tokyo Drift first then you learn a major spoiler about one of the characters that shows up in three of the other movies. Obviously it doesn't really matter since Tokyo Drift was the third movie released so a fair amount of people, or at least me, watched them as they came out and knew that spoiler the entire time.

However, if you didn't want to watch all the movies I would say definitely watch the first just so you understand the whole ridiculous Brian and Dom dynamic. Also its funny to see how crazy the movies have gotten over time in comparison to the first one. The second one isn't important to understanding the later ones. All it does is introduce two new characters, Roman and Tej, that will show up in the later ones but all you need to know is that he's Brian's childhood friend and Tej is like the crews tech guy. Tokyo Drift also introduces (on screen) an important character to later films but the only part form that movie involving him that you need to see is also shown in an after credits scene of Fast 6. So watch 1 and then at least 6 if you can't do 4, 5, and 6 also.

If you had the time I'd recommend watching all of them just because they are ridiculous movies that also happen to be entertaining. If you cared about order of events and not learning about things early I'd watch The Fast and Furious, 2 Fast 2 Furious, Fast and Furious, Fast Five, Fast and Furious 6 (but do not watch after credits scene), Tokyo Drift, and finally the after credits scene from Fast 6. That would get you completely caught up with the events as they happened within the films.

Most of the times I'll play a game once and then never touch it again. I used to have a really bad habit of trying to play through too many games at once and end up not finishing most of them. I own a lot of PS3 games that I got like 3/4s of the way through before moving on to something else. Since I've gotten my PS4 I've tried to enforce a strict policy of playing one game to completion before moving on to a new one. It's worked so far in that I haven't started a game and not beat it. I have a decent backlog of the monthly Plus games though.

As far as playing old games goes I generally set up a PS2 a once or twice a year to play through Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War. For some reason I just really enjoy playing through that games campaign. I'll also jump back into games like Red Dead Redemption, GTA IV/V, and Skyrim and just mess around for a few hours every couple months.

@corevi: True. Its just crazy that a guy who has been such a key part of the site since close to the start came about in that way. Its been really cool watching how his role at GB has changed over the years from an almost strictly behind the scenes guy to one of the most seen.

@ben_h:

I find the "origin" story of Drew at GB really interesting/amazing. Guy was originally just an intern whose main thing was supposed to be packaging t-shirts and doing some shady business involving Anime Vice. At some point the fact that he can edit video comes into play and he becomes Vinny's assistant down in the basement. Que random appearances on videos for a while before they announce that his internship had run up so they decided to hire him. But yeah I think a lot of people who weren't around back near the start are generally really surprised whenever it gets mentioned Drew was initially just an intern for Whiskey Media.

One of my favorite early videos with Drew in it was a mailbag where the someone sent in a bunch of customized koozies that had the guys name on them. If i'm remembering right there was one for Jeff, Ryan, Vinny, Brad, Drew, and Dave. I remember Drew seeming really surprised and excited that he'd be included in a customized gift like that since at the time I think he may still have been an intern.

Well that video and the coca cola one.

I assume they might try and bring in a lot of the GS people. Not sure if they will even try and do something with Comic Vine, does Tony even still work out of that office? I know he used to have a desk right next to the guys but it hasn't looked like he's occupied that space for a while now. I assume he was moved somewhere else in the building, might have his own office or something. Or he might work out of his house. Comic Vine's parts in BLLSL 3 didn't exactly always work out that well.

I sometimes forget just how long Giantbomb has been around now. Its actually gotten to the point where there's probably a fair number of members of the site who wouldn't recognize people like Will, Norm, Dave, Andy, Coonce, Tony, etc. Hell people were asking who Alexis was like two weeks ago and he's only been gone like four months. Its obviously understandable that new users don't recognize people who haven't been an part of the site for years now except for rare appearances but its still just really strange to me.

Regardless really excited for the return of the BLLSL. The previous three were all beautiful messes.

@blaineblaine:

I guess it would depend on what you expect from Dr. Tracksuit in terms of his personal character. Does he even associate others with his success? He has shown the ability to work with others and give mutual respect so theoretically he should be capable of acknowledging others.

Maybe Jeff is just a really shitty manager/agent that Dr. Tracksuit keeps around out of pity or he just doesn't want to take the time to find a better agent that can handle Dr. Tracksuits personal brand of medicine. I think only an in depth discussion with the man himself can provide the answers.

@bicycle_repairman: I am familiar with different forms of monarchy having studied them more than I would have liked. I was imaging the expectations of an monarchy operating under absolutism rather than more contemporary incarnations of monarchy. I'm talking about the times when European monarchs saw themselves as being a higher form of life then the "commoners/peasants".

How can their not be any other record of the list? I assume there would have been copies of the list on different servers or sent out by email to different branches or departments. Something along those lines at the very least . I'm just amazed at that level of incompetence/stupidity by a company that large. Like was there just one individual who was the "Keeper of the List" and ninjas stormed his office and planted thermite on his computer that had the only copy.
