They can't fuck this up..........right?"
Of course not... I mean, it's not like when they did the old Capcom VS SNK games on the PS2, that they turned out bad... With one character being able to beat the living pulp out of all the others with a single combo.

But personally, since they're including Superman in this game, they'll need to come up with some whacky explanation as to why he doesn't just zoom behind them and throw them off the screen (since that Boy Scout rarely ever pulls a punch) or just heat-vision their face off.
Oooh. Note to self... Laser-Face-Melt would make a good fatality... Oh wait. They've taken fatalities out. One of the defining parts of the series. Good move, Midway.
"

Well the main explanation as to why Superman isn't as powerful as he usually is due to the realm of MK being magic based.  In the comics Superman's other weakness aside from Kryptonite is magic so thats the reason why he isn't fighting at 100% power.

And Fatalities are in the game. MK characters and DC villians will perform them while DC heroes like Superman and Batman will perform Brutalities, non-kill finishing moves.

I've definetly have gotten used to the right stick combat and like it a lot. After playing the game for a while, you realize it's about loot and abilities, not combat.
"

Well my comment about Dyack's comment was in reference to the camera system of Too Human and not the combat.  In my time with the demo I did in a way get used to using the right analog stick for combat but still found it slightly unfulling due to the animations and the somewhat less tactile feel when actually fighting the enemies.

My favorite PS1 game is probably Omega Boost. In my view it's an extremely underrated game which did some amazing things considering the hardware.  Having a boss that mimics the liquid metal transformation of T1000 from Terminator 2 on the PS1 hardware still amazes me today.  Sadly it seems Polyphony Digital is too wrapped up in the GT series to continue with Omega Boost.

Looks nice. I've been looking forward to this FF game more than FFXIII. I just find the art style more appealing as well as the potential way the combat system could end up being. Too bad it'll probably be another 4 years before we see it released.

I was a fan of the show.  I do think at times it felt a bit too self serving but overall I liked the writing and the performances.  There were some minor story issues I had such as the somewhat cliche romance angle between Matt and the lady whose name I'mf forgeting right now but I guess it worked for the most part and it was nice to see the series end on a happy note considering it was the final episode.  This thread reminds me to pick the series up on DVD.

I think thats what they're doing at this point.  It wouldn't make that much sense to release a TDK which directly follows the events of the film months after the movie has been released.  I'm hoping it'll just be set in the world of films and allow the player to drive around the Batpod.

Well it ultimately depends on how well the game sells and what dev studio LucasArts can get to develop the title.  It would be nice to see a sequel to Episode 6 since some people have been clamoring for that.

"No, it would ruin movie hype."

I don't think it would.  It certainly didn't happen with Batman Begins.

Well, I see the Playstation 3 as more of a media center (much better than the 360 in the field).
People were screaming and jumping up and down over ingame XMB support and when it finally was implemented, the simplest things just don't work as well as they should do.

For instance, switching games from the ingame XMB takes about as long as quiting the game you're playing and booting up the second one manually. Guess it's because the features that DO work well aren't the ones that'll be useful to me. Just my personal opinion.

EDIT: I'm not a 360 fanboy or anything, I own all consoles. But I honestly think that Microsoft are ahead of Sony in every field other than media functionality.

"

Well said points.  I wasn't really calling you out or anything.  Was simply interested to hear what your thoughts were.  I do think certain aspects of in-game XMB can be streamlined in future updates.
