Back when I was a kid there was this TV show called In the Box that used to play in the morning after the weekday cartoons/anime.

Back on track though I think a lot of people use them the same way as they do trailers or previews. If I'm excited about getting something then I devour every piece of information I can get that's related to that particular thing; especially if that thing costs a lot of money.

@zevvion: I feel like if there's one thing I learnt from Ryan Davis it's to just love whatever you love and relish in it and the same goes for everyone else

I backed the project and don't really care about the missing content because I'd take quality over quantity any day.

I feel like their misstep here was announcing their cuts a month before release even though they'd have known about it for at least a year or two. That to me seems like a shitty move and I can see the perceived disrespect that some people may feel as a result

@sethmode: It's hard for me to really write anything other than the old adage of RAFO (read and find out) because it's so hard to parse the spoilers out of everything haha. I think the easiest thing to say is just to sit back and enjoy the ride with the knowledge the yes, the stakes are upped and yes, shit happens :). There's very much a beginning, middle and end to each of their books so that formula doesn't really change but I would definitely persevere and make it through to the other side of Nemesis Games before calling it quits though!

@racered: I know we're beating on a dead horse here but I've been thinking about this a lot lately and for me I've fallen out of most multiplayer games because of this reason as well. I know there's always going to be someone better than me purely because I haven't the time to devote hours to this one game so what's the point being fodder for those insanely good people. I much prefer singleplayer experiences which I can brute force no matter how inept I might be at the game.

This game feels really refreshing! I haven't had this much fun playing a multiplayer game since the first Modern Warfare, I even tried Overwatch but bounced off that after trying to like the game for a solid couple of hours.

I feel like they need to give you some more help when it's 2/3v1 because I've yet to live through or see anyone live through such an encounter. Maybe buffing the Revenge modes or something or maybe it's done on purpose and just a matter of learning your class better.

And also it's probably just me or it's a colour blind thing where I have trouble noticing opposing characters when they're amongst the trash mobs?

My problem is that when I like something I obsess about it and can't do anything else in the mean time.

My typical play through of any game is to immerse myself as much as possible in the game, so if it's the Witcher then I'll do as many sidequests as possible before moving on to the next story beat. In Mankind Divided I spent the first few hours once the world opened up combing every single inch of the bank and stealing anything that wasn't nailed down. This usually ends up with me getting burnt out around the 30-40hr mark and main lining the story towards the latter half of the game. My only kryptonite is fantasy games. Even shitty fantasy games like Two Worlds 2 or Risen 2 or something and I can sink any amount of hours into it without getting bored... I do not regret the 40hrs I put into Reckoning...

The game is surprisingly fun! I didn't realise how different the fighting styles are and the nuance that each one has so this game is definitely on my radar.

I can't be the only one who gets this game confused with Nier...right?

For me it's more a decision of whether I'd like to directly support this thing I like or not. I see it as supporting GB with the premium videos as an added bonus and the free t-shirts as an added added bonus :)
