Finally.

I liked the movie enough as a kid. I could definitely see the differences you mention making it a much better movie for someone who's a kid no longer, and I'm pretty much universally disappointed by English dub actors - Pokemon of olde (and especially new) being no exception. And yep, tears bringing a dead Ash back to life was lame even back then (but I still for whatever reason got teary myself).

"It's against racism or something" is a strong moral lesson.

Can't wait for the review of the second movie, I guess? It's the only one I own even today on Digital Versatile Disc.

Movie is still amazing in my book, god damn is emo mewtwo fucking great and got a lot of laughs watching it with friends while drinking a few years back.

EDIT: was thinking this was the sequel Metwo returns (?). Regardless both movies are awesome and the best moment from this one is Team Rocket getting the "Who's that pokemon" wrong, fucking great.

Also, where's the review of Pikachu's Vacation? It doesn't even get a mention?

I cried during this movie. Of course I was like 8 years old, but still, my emotions were real.

The question on my mind for any movie like this: Is it more entertaining to play the game for the duration of the movie or watch the movie?

There are several things that seem weird about this thread.

• Why does it start off with an apology about "it" taking so long? Am I to believe that you've said previously that you were doing this?
• You realise that what you have written is not a review? If I had to give a term to it I'd say it's more like an informative piece. The only opinions I can make out is that you don't like the song placement and the ending? Which is only 10% of the article.
• "It's against racism or something" Well if you the reviewer doesn't know how I am supposed to?
• Wouldn't you have been better posting this here? Or at least in the off-topic forum.

You remind me of the guy who popped up once every 5 months posting random Code Lyoko reviews. Read some Giant Bomb reviews, work on your writing and put some context into why you're doing this.

I liked this movie because I got some sweet Pokemon cards from it. Traded them for an even sweeter shiny Mew card. I still have it somewhere in a box.
