Yeah, in recent memory i'm gonna have to go with Dragons Dogma.

The characters are so wooden and stiff you won't care about ANY of them. The story is paced in such a god awful way. Until the VERY end of the game where some dude just exposition dumps on your face you have NO idea whats going on. Thats a horrible horrible way to write a story. Oh and plot exposition ghost that lives in that cave who exists just to dump a crapload of plot at you because they don't know how to naturally pace their game.

Don't get me wrong, i loved dragons dogma, the gameplay was super fun, but the characters and plot were awful. Oh and that stupid god damn final dungeon place which you kept having to fall down the loopy hole and land on ledges to GRIND for a stupid arbitrary amount of stones. That dungeon was SO annoying to navigate. "ok explored this ledge, time to jump and hope i land on one i havent been to yet".

It's like the game was actively trying to make me hate it despite having super fun combat.

I'll probably get alot of hate for this. But i think the original series is garbage that doesn't hold up at all.

TNG was pretty solid, DS9 is the best, and after DS9 the shows start getting crappy.

Honestly, if i was Dan i'd be pretty insulted a bunch of jerks on the internet was calling me a "child" and telling me to do stuff.

I dont have a PS4 or Xbox One yet, but i'm planning on getting one this fall.

Overall i really enjoy assassins creed games. They're fun and usually pretty darn good. Though around here people are very spiteful and hate on the games like crazy. One dumb thing said by a PR guy and everyone holds it against them for months...

Of course you could necro a dead thread. It's still dead. The arguments and the people making the arguments are no longer active. You could respond to an argument or opinion and get no response because the thread is a year old dead thread. There is absolutely NO real reason NOT to start a new thread with active posters discussing the same subject than attempting to force life support to some dead topic that hasnt had a reply in months or years.

The discussion in the new thread would be more lively, interesting and active than bumping and old dead thread.

And again, what is the harm. I see threads locked all the time because "something similar exists even though its a year old dead thread so im locking your post" But i can't for the life of me see the harm. yes if multiple active threads on the same subject are going then yeah, merge/lock some down, but locking a thread because a year old similiar thread exists is fucking STUPID.

@believer258: Progress is made by iterating on the same discussions you've been having for ages. If the conversation is stagnant and not allowed to renew itself then it never progresses.

I have a PS1 that is so beat up that i have to either put a weight on itor tape the lid shut, but the damn thing still works. Just gotta hold that lid closed.

My 360 is an old fat elite model thats like 7-8 years old, damn thing works like a champ. I've played it multiple hours almost everyday since i got it, plus semi-frequent all-day play sessions.

I trust consoles. PC's well they have all sorts of weird issues.

Oh so once a discussion happens we cant discuss a subject again? That's kinda, well, dumb...I never understood that whole idea "oh this dead thread where no ones actively talking about something is where you should post instead of starting a new discussion which does NO HARM"

It's a terrible concept really. It's anti-conversation.
