It was shitty of the fireflies to do what they did. Honestly in Joels shows i would have done the same thing. Plus they were in a really shitty run down lab, i dont think it woulda worked.
DS9 has its moments but it also features the greatest number of junk characters who pollute every episode they are involved in with their presence.
You mean like Westley Crusher? The single most annoying character EVER?
DS9 had deeper plots, more interesting characters, actual character development, and continuity between episodes. Plus it had the most badass star trek captain to ever grace the screen. He made Worf go "woah, thats hardcore". WORF.
The new Godzilla. I forget the name, i think its just "Godzilla".
a giant meh/5.
Way to conveniently make it pitch black night time anytime the monsters were doing anything....Then when the monsters finally start fighting you cut away to watch soldiers climb down rubble? Horseshit!
Very disappointing. Didn't care about the poorly developed humans, the monsters were always shrouded in darkness except for "moneyshots", the plot was basically oops our dumb plan didnt work, we better spent the climax fixing our stupid plan
I dunno. Wasn't great at all, and this is from a fan of the old movies, used to watch them as a kid all the time. I come to monster movies to SEE the monsters fight, not see brief glimpses of them fight as they move through smoke and spot lights....then watch soldiers do boring shit for a majority of the movie.
I dont buy games i dont need because i'm not an idiot with too much money and no self control. Thus no backlog.
If i buy a game, i play it that day. Otherwise it's just pretty damn stupid. Hearing people around here have "huge backlogs" of sometimes dozens of games baffles the fuck out of me. Why on earth would you buy more games if you have games you still want to play already?
It's like people are taking CRAZY PILLS!
I have a ton of games I will never play on Steam because of Humble Bundles and Steam Franchise/Publisher packs.
I deal with it by just playing what I want to. I'm not going to force myself to start a game just because "it's next on the list" and I'm not going to force myself to finish a game I'm halfway through and not enjoying.
Oh i have that too, thats not so much of a backlog as a "extra games you didnt really want due to a deal" type thing.
But like, if i had 3 games that i actually wanted to play, i'd play those before buying anything else. For example, if i had a bunch of games i wanted to play on my shelf i'd wait on buying the next game i wanted.
I dunno, the entire concept of a backlog is insane to me, maybe i was just raised to value my stuff more than most people.
