Va-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action is listed as 2014, even though it came out in 2016. (They released a playable prologue/demo in 2014, which is listed separately; the game itself came out this year, though, and it too is listed as 2014.) Alright, this comment gave me the idea of making someone else who's finished the game sit down with me later this week to replay some of the more memorable sections so we can gush about what we liked. Wouldn't work so well for every game, but this one has the easy chapter select + insane moments that would make it appropriate. Someone help me think of a name.
In general I'm more hesitant to show off too much before a game is out for purchase. Five hours after release there will be full playthroughs posted on YouTube, so post-release feels like a more appropriate time to dig into more of it if people want it.
I would love it if you did this. Some of my favourite content at Giant Bomb is the Game of the Year stuff when you guys really dig into the meat of games, talk about stories and moments, etc. I buy more games that week than any other week of the year.

Or there are less people that own Wii U's, as opposed to other games that game out on multiple platforms. Rise of the Tomb Raider probably suffered from that too.
That's definitely me, re Tomb Raider. Super excited for the PC release, and it probably would've made my list if I had an XB1.

The difference between west and east coast is interesting. I am East coast all the way (heh - idea for a east coast/west coast feud like the rap "feud" of the 80s and 90s? That could make for some funny premium content).
@austin_walker you should tie both Jeff and Vinny down to a chair and make them watch this so they see what a real good game is.
nope -- he read it, and basically intimated that eps 4 and 5 wouldn't be as good or wrap things up. He offered to tell them and they declined, and instead just didn't fight as hard for the series as a whole (focusing on specific moments, like the end of ep 2 that made it into Best Moment or Sequence).
Also I don't think Austin needs to tie Vinny down to watch it; I'm preeeetty sure Vinny's seen it.
