@rustymagus: Every boss in this is in curse of the moon. They've all forgotten them though.

@lesliemagnafuzz: But, I thought the Reapers wiped out “all organic life” which would include every thing from intelligent species to even bacteria. Their must be a log explaining this accelerated evolution somewhere in the Mass Effect trilogy.

They are called the reapers because they are cyclically harvesting civilisations not purging the entire galaxy. They wipe out all organic life on developed worlds, but the galaxy has billions of stars so most worlds are totally untouched by the harvest. For there to be another harvest in 50,000 years they need to ensure there is primitive life of sufficient development and that mass effect technology is within reach.

They may even have their servitor races spend some time altering the relay network or guiding evolution after each harvest, otherwise they risk flying in from dark space finding nothing and having to hibernate within the galaxy. I would also speculate that by moving the mass relays around it keeps the current cycles species from interacting with too many primitive species and uplifting a bunch of them. Because each species finds a mass relay in their system and becomes dependant on it for FTL most never bother venturing outside the network, so the Reapers are using the relay network topography to control which worlds, resources, and species are involved in each cycle.

@danryckert Hey Dan, Antarctica is a protected environment under international treaty and you can't bury your trash there. Why don't you look for a company to launch it into the sun, thats legal. Or just do a giveaway.

@alex The game was talking about the spirit coming through and taking over their computers 2 mins before you were asking why they weren't explaining that. You were giggling about Vinny missing locks at the time. The whole fetch quest of the game seems to be finding keys to get rid of the angry spirit and presumably they talk some more about it later.

Glad Abby got to see some of this. The game is real vague on the part Vinny just did should be more straightforward from now on Mostly. The biggest problem with that part is probably just the towers being a weird cylinder but still drawn as a flat map.

@porpoiseproblem: you should put spoiler tags on the second half of that really. Its so tempting to tell them everything but I think its better for everyone to just try to answer questions Vinny has.

Boo to that crash but still great stream. Look forward to more romps around the castle.

Trying not to post too much info about this game but Vinny asked about the crops. I think the crops grow when you load into a new area (teleport or pass through one of the transition rooms). They have a few growth stages before they are ready but you can probably just cheese it teleporting around. The renewable crafting supply chests are also reset on area loads.

One thing that took me awhile to wrap my head round, enhancing shards increases the Rank, it tells you what ranking up does in the description. Generally this is just a range or size increase, or for summons an increased duration. You might do more damage simply because you are getting more hits in but the damage per hit is not increased.

Getting duplicate shards increases the Grade, (I don't know why its a seperate thing Grade=Number of shards and you can't even collect extra shards past max grade at the moment). The grade increases the strength of the shard, so for most things this is just more damage per hit. Or for a passive shard the strength of the buff.
