I really liked the vibe of this map. Something about the farmland and the fall feeling really did it for me (also, hooray for the scarecrow disguise making a return!), which is perfect with October around the corner. I don't love this map's layout, I think the premise of a militia camp in the middle of an old farm is sound, but it feels a little too sprawling with all the major buildings w/ targets bunched up in the corner of the map. Overall, a good map that is only weighed down by comparisons to the first two levels.
I like the story stuff, it's just interesting enough to make me care. Time will tell if anything has a good payoff, but so far I think all of the cinematics have been better than the rest of the series at least. Nothing as cringey as Absolution or as one note as Blood Money yet. The best bit about the storytelling in this game will always been the environmental stuff though. Seriously, I don't know why more people haven't mentioned it. For instance, if you stuck around by Reza Zaydan back in ep 3, you could actually hear a bit about the heralds and their role, which has more obvious plot significance here in Colorado.
I'm hoping we get to kill/meet more people mentioned in the Paris mission, I have a feeling that mission foreshadowed a few future seasons' missions with all the 3rd floor ambient dialogue that's there.
