I'm pretty sure it was Bushido Blade.
I loved that game. Used to rent it all the time.
Saw it for only a couple of bucks at a garage sale, I think. And I got it.
Two weeks later I lost it during a move, which still makes me pretty angry.
I'd like to play it again.

While I agree that the series is going downhill, I don't hate the game. I play it quite a lot.  It's just more of the same, as far as I'm concerned.
Which would probably be fine if say, next-gen didn't happen and it was the next iteration of the series on the PS2/PSP only.
Then only the roster update and some minor changes to how the career mode plays out would've sufficed, I think.

But next gen DID happen and now everything about the game feels old and clunky, I think. They need to start from scratch, as has been said.

Most of my gameplay will be in Co-op with my brother and he's always a good character, so I'll likely take a darker path to balance things out.
For every person he saves, I'll kill one! Or two... Hehe.

Initally I was kind of like "meh" - The only DC property I have familiarity with is Batman, so the DC Universe alone - at least until I read more DC stuff I s'pose - isn't a big selling point.
However I have read some more previews, seen some gameplay vids and it looks pretty tight.

I'm pretty certain I'll like Mercenaries 2 more myself. I'm a sucker for Co-op. I'm not sure how well receieved it'll be, though.
And in comparison to Far Cry 2? Well a lot of people are just gonna go with Far Cry 2. They'll love that game.
Mercs 2, like Mercs 1 - will likely be sorely underrated and Far Cry 2 - like Far Cry 1, whilst still being a great game - will probably be over rated.

I'm on hiatus at the moment, but I used too.
And then I hit a point where I had money woes and had to cut my MMORPG budget.
Fast forward to now. And I don't have those money woes.

However I'm currently stuck on Age of Conan, however I'm having issues with that. Mostly concerning lag.
But in the not too distant future if Age of Conan doesn't work out I'll definetely be heading back to City of Heroes.
I've become almost toally absorbed in all things Superhero as of late so I might wind up going back to it regardless of what happens with AoC.

The time I spent with CoH in the past however was great. Fun game.

Gonna have to say Spore.
I'm definately looking forward to Fallout 3 as well, but chances are I'll just grab it for the 360.

I wish I could say I was looking forward to it, I like Dragonball/Z/GT.
But this just looks... It looks horrible.
Goku's a white dude. And I like Chow Yun Fat, but I don't see him as Roshi.

Only thing I can get behind is James Marsters as Piccolo, but thats it.
