I wonder what the rules are for having former employees/coworkers as guests? It seems like Gerstmann almost never acknowledges the existence of people he used to work with, but the Nextlander guys seem to be able to interact with anyone they want, is there a corporate issue, or just the way these things seem to have gone over the years? Sometimes it seems like there should be more interaction between people who still seem to be friends, but I wonder what gets in the way?
I see that Tubi has Tammy and the T Rex on it, Tubi is great for cult crap movies, and I don't mind the commercials so much watching that type of movie, it feels like the sort of crap you'd watch on Saturday afternoon TV in the 80s or 90s. Real movies with ads is a bad deal, though.
I saw the fourth movie in the theater before I saw any others, and I thought the lore was pretty interesting. Watching the first four later, the first two are good, the third is terrible, and the fourth is better than people say.
When Grubb started doing Grubbsnax I thought he talked too fast, and his kids interrupted too often, but since he's been integrated into the group he's such a nice guy.
It's nice to hear that Grubb listens to Nextlander, it's nicer to have a big interconnected group of people we like than everyone having to be in their own little sections, for corporate reasons, or whatever used to keep people apart. Hearing Vinnie talk about missing brisket drove me to seek out brisket for dinner, but I don't live in an area with Jewish tradition, so I think it was harder to find than the New Jersey area during high holidays.
I don't think Beatles records ever cost less than full price no matter how many formats they had been on. You pay the same price for new printings of old books as you do for new books. Games seem more aged, because of ongoing technology, but there isn't really much reason they shouldn't charge for anything people will buy.
After having played Chrono Trigger I'd recommend Jess play Final Fantasy 6 before moving to 7, I think she'd appreciate another SNES JRPG before moving to Playstation.
