Lately I've been having a lot of trouble unwinding after work and falling asleep at a decent hour. I need something to slow my racing mind and calm me down so i can actually fall asleep at a decent hour.

My usual gaming taste is RPGs or strategy games but i find playing those games before bed ends with me awake at 4am with my mind even more restless than when i started.

So basically im looking for any suggestions for a nice calm game with short sessions so i can try and unwind and relax after my usual 12-14 hour shifts.

I put my mental health in your hands!

Has anyone started a new guild yet? I just got into this game for the first time and it would be nice to have a few people to play with.

Just now got off a 3 hour session with the open beta and i have to say that this is the competitive mutli-player game ive been looking for all of my life.

No fluky head shots, No camping, No expliots, No cheap weapons just you, Skill and teamwork decides who the victor is in this game. The grand scale of the factions war going on combined with the fine skill based gameplay leaves me with a sense of wanting to not only do better, but be better with every round i play. A feeling I've not felt since i played Cod2 at a ranked competitive level (TWL anybody?). Every death i feel I've learned something and every kill i feel I've fought for and earned. I feel a connection with every enemy and ally and i feel like over the course of a match i learn their playstyle and tactics,

I do however wish they would improve the interface and the menu navigation a little bit, i had to leave my first match by alt+tab out of the program because there was no clear indication on how to exit a match once it has started.

What are your thoughts so far and how do you think they could improve the game?

XCOM for me, having an entire squad of super experienced decked out solders die in a single mission made it unplayable late in the campaign. What the hell are you supposed to do with a squad full of rookies on the mothership?

Any reasonable overclock wont affect the heath/lifespan of your computer so i always overclock a little bit. Its a free performance enhancement so why wouldn't you take advantage of it?

You have an awesome setup right there and welcome back to the ranks of PC gaming! I just recently got back into it after a 5 year break, building a new system these days is a breath of fresh air compared to how it was in 2008 when i built my first computer. Glad to see I'm not the only one who has gotten back into it!

Im going to say mass effect only because i played it beginning to end on launch day at a friends house and i had some of the best gaming memories from it. Although everything else on that list is solid, nothing beats nostalgia.
