The conference was frankly disappointing more than anything. It looked promising at the beginning with Halo 4 being shown then pretty much dive bombed from there. Too much focus on why we should buy a 360 to browse the web through our TV using our Smartphones and not enough time spent promoting why we should buy a 360 to play games on or why we should consider resubscribing or continuing to subscribe to Xbox Live for games. I understand Kinect is a big thing for Microsoft but the conference pretty much confirmed that all it seems to be good for is sports and fitness related games, even the voice command stuff seemed somewhat dull and diluted. You can give voice commands in Fifa 13, cool...now why did no one opt to try and integrate motion capture so you could actually play a game using Kinect?
Star Wars 1313 does look ridiculously good, but it's hard to tell if that's just because they showed a PC version or whatnot.
Between the particle effects, the lighting, the post-processing and the sheer amount of stuff onscreen I think that a version of that game released on current consoles would look very, very different from that demo. Just look at the "fog" in the shootout scene and imagine that being rendered in real-time on a 360 while all of the particle effects from the blaster hits are going off and that fire is enveloping the end of the corridor, then you see the ships coasting by through the hole in the hull - and that's before you notice the textures and the amount of geometry inside the corridor. It would be amazing to bring that to a 360 or PS3 with all of that junk intact. If it isn't a next-gen game then we don't need a next generation, we just need whatever black magic Lucasarts has access to.
Both games look like they could be released on current gen consoles and I'm fairly certain, as someone mentioned, Watch Dogs has current gen platforms listed for release.

So when they finally decide to make a gritty mature themed Star Wars game they opt to go for a bounty hunter themed game instead of having some serious lightsaber decapitation action!?
