So here's another one of those threads where I say that "hey, I shipped a game and I've got some codes for the community I call home". Unfortunately, console codes are harder to come by, so I can't just hand out a huge stack like I have been doing in the past. As always, I will not mention the name of the game - this isn't an advertising opportunity, I just want to give back to the community that gives so much to me.

Please let people know when you have used a code. Also the game is releasing at midnight on March 1, so some of you may not be able to play it until it hits that time in your region (it's already midday on March 1 here).

Only two missions in, but it's like coming in from the cold reaches of space after a long time alone. I love that it fills in an important part of the Homeworld story, it isn't just a shoehorned prequel idea. Kharak is a central part of the Homeworld lore, so this really hits a home run for me.

I'm not an RTS gamer. I suck at RTS games but I've always loved Homeworld. Hopefully some multiplayer content and regular sales will keep people coming back. To me I think this feels like Blackbird had almost finished the game by the time Gearbox confirmed the Homeworld license, and they just want to push this out in preparation for a bigger, better Homeworld 3. I think the remastered edition sold pretty well so would give Gearbox another successful franchise while they experiment with that horrible shooter they are working on.

It's kinda a weird thing. It's a Pokemon clone, yet the way it is set up, I can definitely imagine them making an episode where this happens. Actually, I really wish they would make an episode based on the game. That would be hilarious!

Thanks for the kind words @flamingeyebrows! Still making my way through the GOTY content (Episode 4 now) and was blown away by how many times Hacknet has been mentioned. So proud of this baby we have created :D

This. This x 100. It felt like Star Wars, the characters were all great, but it didn't stray from the path at all to explore anything. Let's destroy the planets that the Republic are on so the senate is gone, but no explanation as to how the senate fits into the galaxy, how they impact the First Order, or how the band of soldiers became the RESISTANCE again. Po's reappearance is flippantly explained away. For no apparent reason, R2 comes back to life at the end, when he could have done it earlier while everyone was there at the base. Don't get me wrong, I had a lot of fun with the movie, and I hope it's overt fan service was just to get people on board for a deeper, more exploratory next episode. I just wanted a bit more story there - a lot of it falls apart if you think about it longer than ten minutes.

Absolutely love Rey, Po and Finn. I think Ren is a pretty intimidating bad guy, especially when he just flies off the handle in those few scenes. I think he's going to have a great story come out if him.

I'll see it again, and I really enjoyed it, but I'm definitely thinking it's missing something. I wanted a new Star Wars film, not a re-telling of A New Hope. Also 3 out of 7 movies feature giant planet destroying stations that are destroyed by exhaust port like means.....time for something new there.

RANDOM MOMENT - partying with The Dandy Warhols at an afterparty that we randomly happened to be at the same bar
