This game has helped me understand fighting games. I absolutely love it.

In the past I've never really been into them, I figured a lot of the content was basically not available to me as I lack the skill. But I've learned a lot with this game and it's clicked finally.

The last Mortal Kombat I played before this was 4. So a lot of the plot points go over my head a little but it doesn't really matter. All that matters is.... FIGHT!

I highly doubt loading screens can be eliminated yet. We're just not there yet. We can obfuscate them, but I reckon people will still be able to tell when something is being streamed in.

Kerbal Space Program.... I've put 130 hours into it, and I am terrible at it.

I have to use cheats if I really wanna get anywhere. Which is fine. But playing the game as intended - I fail every time.

Not a good game per-se, but Bubsy 3D? I played it all the way through when I was younger. I have a few fond memories of it... A few.

I agree that this game deserves some disdain as it's flawed, but to constantly see it ranked high on 'worst ever' lists with other games which are unplayable, broken and glitchy... I don't think it should be on there. I'd rather it be forgotten and just fade away as an unremarkable game.

God of War. I stopped playing for a while and did a lot of PC and Switch gaming.

Came back to it and I had saved just before a Valkyrie battle. I had no chance. I forgot.. EVERYTHING.

It's tempting, as it's free and very easy to find solutions now. Way back you either had to buy a strategy guide, or call a premium rate hotline to get help... But I usually figure it out myself.

Unless it's The Witness. Had no patience for some of these puzzles. I just rushed my way through that game with a guide open.

I also used a walkthrough on my second playthrough of L.A. Noire - as I wanted a 100% success rate and wanted to see how it played out then.

Most DMC games I've played are rather punishing at first on the regular difficulty until you've figured out stuff, but this one is less so.

The thing I'm most surprised about though is how well it plays using keyboard+mouse on PC. It's intuitive, and I can get into a rhythm where I don't feel like a controller would make things any easier to do.

I know it's no AAA game, but I always found the music in Gish distracting. I didn't think it fit at all.

I used to always go round to a friends house to play the demo of Future Cop LAPD with him.

Not that I remember that game terribly much unless I think back. Was lots of fun though.

Other than that, I have a lot of memories of my dining room in my dad's old house. Ocarina of Time, Final Fantasy 8, Extreme-G 3.

XG3 was the first 'next gen' game I ever played at the time (2001-2002), I was amazed by the visuals. I'll always remember sitting there thinking.. Wow. These graphics are stunning. And I was playing through composite video as well.
