I thought the Demo was... fine. The music for the demo level was a bit weary sounding.

It immediately felt like Yoshi's Island to me. The moves, the controls, the interactivity with the level. I'm guessing it diverges more in later levels as new stuff starts to come into play.

I don't really have many physical copies of recent games.. I have 2 for Switch, and a handful for PS4.

Roughly 90 physical GameCube games though. But in there is like 3 copies of Metroid Prime... and a few other dupes... Sometimes I forget what I own. :/

I very loosely followed GameSpot, became aware of Jeff.. then I basically followed the trail to Giant Bomb after the shit went down.

But I didn't properly digest the content and browse regularly after a couple of years after it launched.

There may come a time when we've seen it all, and nothing will impress us anymore.

A lot of older games still have weight behind them - and those are the ones that are getting remastered and re-released. As an example... Wind Waker springs to mind. Nintendo didn't really need to do much with it to make it feel up to date. Just up-res it and make the camera smarter.

Any time you need to pair up with an NPC in Oblivion/Skyrim/Fallout 3 etc.

Why is their running speed faster than your walk but slower than your run?! Bugs me that I can't just keep pace with them, always have to stop and start.

I saw The Grinch recently.

I wasn't expecting much going in (My girlfriend wanted to see it) - but this movie was terrible. There was potential to explain the characters background here but it all just kinda wrapped up and got resolved suddenly. Plus The Grinch in this one isn't even that evil or shunned. He appears to make friends pretty easily and even has some already.

The Minions short that they showed before was better!

The game is basically your classic Pokemon Yellow with a few changes.

I like the changes, but I'm sorta disappointed they didn't update other things too. An example would be where a Pokemon learns a new move and you need to forget a move or keep the old moves... the menu there and dialogs are unchanged. It just feels unnecessarily long these days!

Out of what I've owned - Probably the 3DS.

I was really irritated by the fact that a 'New' 3DS was released and specific titles would only work on that. That pretty much put the brakes on my enthusiasm for the thing and I ended up selling it.

So if you use Chrome or Firefox, you can get an addon called XStyle (Don't know if something like it is available for other browsers). The idea is you can edit CSS yourself, I've knocked a speedy one together for GB... I won't use it personally and it's more of a jumping off point to anyone that wants to make it more complete. I'm no designer.

To use it, you'll have to save the text file and pick Install From File(s) in the XStyle settings, then it should just kick in.
