The only thing I can say, or think, to people that aren't stoked about a new product (regardless of where/who it comes from) is "sorry?" It legitimately sucks to not be enthralled by a new tech, but judging from the internet's majority this seems to be exactly what people were hoping for/expecting. I, someone who doesn't travel, still sees a benefit in taking the console with me in such an easy fashion. It's not a gimmick. That word needs to stop being used so lightly when people notice a product simply utilizing a feature that may not be as structured or normal as we are use to.

I won't be buying one day one, however. I don't do that for pretty much any system. The launch line-up isn't beefy enough for me, but I do have faith in Nintendo for putting out something I want. I don't go into the whole thing with outrageous expectations of monthly "must-buy" release solely because I wouldn't be able to afford it (as well as other things that interest me) even if they did. The Wii had plenty of titles making it's purchase sensible, the Wii U had plenty of titles of make it's purchase sensible, and judging from the direction of the Switch, it will also have enough titles to make a purchase sensible. I mean, hell, I own a PS4 and have roughly 4-6 games on it (barring a couple of small indie titles) and that is still worth the $400 I originally paid for it.

Again, it sucks to see others not stoked about a new "thing" in the industry, but I'll wait and see what people really think down the line when the system is at it's peak support for video games, which is when any sensible, or non-Nintendo fan would make their purchase decision anyway.

Man, if this game is bringing back the early Resident Evil zombies, lickers, and etc. (anything but new virus) I am already sold. Judging by what I saw in the "final" demo it seems to be that way!

Mine is a combination of what people call me a lot ("kind") and my educational pursuit of becoming a mechanical engineer ("[en]gineer"). Comes out to "kind[gineer]" and rolled off the tongue. I've stuck with, but have noticed people seem to have used it lately in some online games. Frustrates me to no end. So I ended up coming up with something else in that situation which is still "kind" and "mk2" (Mark II) as a "generational" thing.

EDIT: Maybe take "ali" to google and see if there are any words that pique your interest that maybe contain Ali? Then try to combine with other words (if the former doesn't satisfy you) until you come up with something that resonates with you. Some examples are: ALIgn, ALIve, ALIen, or InvALId.

Grammar Nazis are disruptive. Generally, they lack any interest in the subject and end up either creating an entirely different subject during a discussion, or simply refuse to understand that their tone during said criticism should be criticized itself. There is nothing more infuriating than trying to kick-start a discussion about a certain topic than to have someone waltz in and undermine the topic by pointing out flaws. It shows a sense of insecurity, or more often than not, a sign of superiority.

That being said, there are places where pointing out grammar flaws is at least tolerable. Places such a professional forums, peer reviewed articles, or anything in which its used as a professional display. Advertisements, novels, or anything else where a grammatical error tends to disarm the intended effect. Simply criticizing someone for their common speech or something they may have wrote is typically an asinine thing to do.

That being said, there are times to do it. However, the one issue people tend to miss almost every single time, is you typically do not personally know the person you are criticizing. It's sort of brash to believe you're entitled to criticizing a stranger. At least that is how I was raised.

I very recently play Dragonquest: Builders for roughly 8-9 hours straight. Didn't even realize it. I put my 3 kiddos down at around 9pm, sat down with Dragonquest: Builders, and didn't get up from the PS4 until roughly 6am the next morning. The following day was horrid, since as a parent there is no rest, but I don't regret my spree!

Depends on the reveal. Actually, that will only support me buying it. Pre-ordering a console seems like a fools errand. I doubt it will release botched, or anything of the sort; but I can't imagine it will have a release line-up worth spending the large chunk first, and then the subsequent purchases to get the games.

That all depends, though, so we'll see.

For what I've seen so far of it, it's amazing. It's relatively amazing, though. I think if we sit and compare it to YouTube or Twitch it's easy to get on it's side. Once it has a heavier load and continues to be great will be the real determining factor. Until then, though, I will enjoy the higher-quality, low-latency streams it offers!

There's a yellow pipe on a certain (early) level in Super Mario World that every single damn time I trust my instinct it's at a certain point and it's not. I cannot for the life of me figure out why I continue to make this mistake (it's like 25+ times at this point) or why my brain ever thought it was there in the first place.

It drives me insane!
