Dan should be a rapper. "Mmmbop you in the head and make your hair like hanson, parted" is legit.

Thanks for the awesome feature! Can't wait for ME2. The only thing I'm very worried about is what they replaced Mako exploration with. I mean, it's relatively easy to ignore, but you need at least some resources to install absolutely essential upgrades on the Normandy.

While everyone was focusing on whether or not VR is the way to go, I would like to say that this game actually tried to not rely solely on jump scares. The developers seemed to realize that sounds slowly increasing in volume and shapes lurking in the dark without necessarily jumping at you can be just as terrifying (if not more so) than cheap jump scares. Inducing the feeling of being watched, surrounded or followed seems so much more effective.

Aaaw yeah, Lucy James, who introduced me to the phenomenon that some people from Great Britain say yuhr instead of year, which I find hilarious for some reason.

I'm not sure I'm capable of flipping the mental switch that is needed to enjoy this game. Others might say the same about the recent AC games, of course, albeit a different switch.

@vinny@alex Kahoku contacted you on the Normandy via comm at some point. He had been digging around and was being chased by Cerberus as a result. He then gave you the coordinates to one of Cerberus' facilities. You won't find him on the Citadel anymore.

Edit: Haha, I spoke too soon. Never mind. In that case: you can see how many keepers you still have to scan in your jounal. ;-)

@vinny@alex I don't think anyone would mind if you quickly perused the codex during the stream to get answers to some basic lore questions, like 'who are the batarians'. The codex entries are part of the lore and the story, and seeing you guys react to that is what I think most of us are here for.

Also, this game can glitch out when it comes to quest indicators, so some exclamation marks will just remain on the map even if you've completed the objective. When you feel like you're done and there's no related objective in your journal anymore, you can safely ignore any remaining exclamation points. The guy on Feros you retrieved data for is a great example. He didn't have anything to offer, that exclamation point was just the game being silly.

@jetpaction: Yeah, I enjoyed it as well, and I think playing it after they fixed a lot of the jank also helped with that, but I just wish it felt more like Mass Effect. I found the combat and exploration very satisfying, and all the environment graphics looked very good. It's just a bummer that the story (including the surrounding lore) and the characters, which were arguably the most important parts of the original trilogy, didn't hook me in any way.

@vinny I'm sure you'll be coming back to the Citadel again, but just in case: there are still a bunch of side quests there. If you're interested, visit C-Sec HQ, Flux, the markets in the Wards, the Presidium financial district, the mass relay replica at the Presidium, the square in front of the Presidium entry to the Wards and the hallway leading to the elevator there. And there's more. Just so you know.
