I would've thought the Switch dock scratch thing was an overreaction until it happened to me.
Twice.
I don't know what else I can do differently. I already place/remove it very slowly and try to keep the screen away from the rails as I do. I wipe the rails and the bottom rubber grips after each time I undock it.
That screen is just too damn soft. I'd gladly trade some shatter-resistance for some scratch-resistance.
I was digging for a bit. Then the talking pollen gave me pause. Then the audio clip lost me. There was a purity to this I enjoyed until that other stuff happened.
The Nvidia Shield Tablet is a damn fine tablet. It's the first smart device I've ever bought, and it will likely be the only one I need for a while. Even without using stuff like GameStream or its built-in capture/streaming functions, it's still a fast and reliable piece of tech.
