By ratio, Black people interact with cops a much larger amount than any other group. This is due to criminal activity.

This is some racist bullshit. Fuck this.

So, after reading this thread, I’m troubled by how many comments are either dismissive or outright antagonistic towards the original poster.

Dismissing and antagonizing racist bullshit is appropriate. Stay troubled.

I would argue that stating, “the black people cops kill do not deserve to die” is an appeal to emotion and doesn’t actually advance the discussion.

To hell with whatever discussion you want to have that precludes people having emotions about human death and suffering.

Please shut this shit down. Coming in here and saying racist shit in a "calm, civil, rational way" is still coming in here and saying racist shit.

the Elite has this issue that no one talks about but is quite prevalent where the sticks are so heavy that when snapping back to neutral they will very often register the opposite direction before settling to middle.

Argh, yes, agreed! I've been annoyed with that particular issue for a long time. Been experiencing it quite a bit in the new Ori game. Is this the new version of the Elite that still has the same problem?

Logitech K830 is a great keyboard w/ touchpad. It's (mildly) backlit, and the battery lasts forever. Works great for browsing and firing up steam or w/e and then Xbox one controllers for games.

If I need mouse/keyboard, I also have a Logitech mouse and a metal mousepad (Corsair) that goes beside me on the couch.

Edit: oh, and in one room I went with an MSI trident, which has a great small footprint, is moderately upgradeable, and pretty quiet. In another, I had more space so just got a nice looking case with lots of glass so it's not an eyesore (nzxt something or other)

The final fight in Asylum turning the joker into just another big strong guy that you have to punch a lot felt like a waste of that character to me.

Haven't played it since release, so my memory is hazy, but my memory of it is of overtutorialization and only-one-way-to-do-it forced stealth that involved a lot more sitting and waiting than I enjoyed.

One more note, I think some of the random events that are supposed to make the game more believable sometimes just make it worse when you don't follow the script. Once I saw a guy close to Saint Dennis asking for help because he was dying, I ignored him because the horse was on auto pilot, and after that I saw the same guy several times on the same stop, saying the same thing.

This aspect of how these encounters just show up in any random place really made the whole idea of exploring of the world seem inconsequential to me. It's technically neat that they figured out how to make those situations work wherever they dropped them in, but if events aren't tied to a location, why bother exploring the map when running in circles will accomplish the same thing?

I wasn't the biggest fan of BoTW, but at least there were reasons to go to specific places, there were specific things that were there and only there. Hrm, ok, maybe a bad example since the only thing anywhere is korok seeds.

On the fun of riding horses in this game, I thought this twitter exchange from Jeff was pretty amusing

I have never punched *my* horse. I did punch someone else's horse after it kicked me in the head though. Seemed fair.

Came here to say pretty much this.

Definitely SOMA. It's one of the few video game stories that's not only great compared to other video game stories, but to me it's one of the best sci fi stories across all mediums.

Forza Horizon 4's music is largely not stuff I'd listen to outside of the game, but works really well within it to create a really positive and fun vibe.
