I think arenanet is just trolling. They don't need the servers tested, they're just having fun with seeing how many people will jump when they say so. That said though, I will definitely be playing in this test.

No I would not switch to Linux. It would however probably make me lean even more towards Mac.

Got mine at 18 which is the earliest you can do it here in Sweden. Got it on the second attempt.
