I dont see anything that makes it worth getting. Art? A box. A CD with music? for an extra 40 to 50 bucks, i want something like the original game with expansions and a zergling statue. and a huge steel case. Not this stuff that we will look at once and say, ok. Thats not good.

As for the original topic, I have read many an article about this kind of stuff, promotions that companies push on franchisees. It is a known fact that on a mcdouble, the owner only makes one cent. At BK, for a dollar, the owner of the franchise loses money on the deal, its just to get people in the door to order fries or a drink where there is a wider profit margin. And I have heard stories of some franchise owners rebelling, as such is the case here probably where they charge their own prices.
