I say absolutely yes. Tiger's approach to the game and his talent level combine to make a golfer with seemingly unlimited potential. He's dedicated his entire life to surpassing Nicklaus' Record for Major wins, and I can't fathom a reality in which he doesn't accomplish that goal. He's had slumps before, as have many great golfers before him. Nicklaus himself had an 8 year span without a major win. Tiger has plenty of golf left in him and he's too good to continue playing at a mediocre level for much longer, so I'm predicting another major win for him within the next year.
We watch sports to see the best athletes in the world play their best, and, regardless of his personal decisions, Tiger Woods was an institution in the sport, and I can't wait to see him make a comeback.
Know what, I've spent the entire Masters yelling at CBS for always going back to Tiger Woods when he has some mediocre shot. Especially considering Louis Oosthuizen's outstanding albatross, which is not something Tiger Woods ever achieved. Or Adam Scott's hole-in-one on a par three, which is not harder than an albatross, but still outstanding. But for some reason, they won't receive any more amount of media attention than Tiger, despite how for the longest of time, he was tied for 38 (And only got worse).
I would cheer for his comeback if he also weren't such a damn baby about everything. Kicking clubs, swearing when he has a bad shot (Which nowadays is often), having a god awful attitude generally is not something I would want to see surpass Nicklaus ever. We watch golf not to see Tiger, we watch it to see everyone play their best, and I'm certain the vast majority of golf fans are tired of having the scorecard continue scrolling down until we see Tiger Woods' horrid score.
