Oh. Well at least they are actually reasonably credible in this video and not that bad. This is who I (and a lot of people probably before the game came out looking for RB2 songs on youtube) thought they were (ie not playing own instruments and generally wtf-y).
Oh, that's awful.  This comment on You Tube says it all:

"It's a damned shame that this is one of the first Google hits that comes up when "The Muffs, Kids in America" is searched ... I feel sorry for all the kids playing Rock Band 2 that think this video is actually The Muffs."

I hate when they make official threads. It's completely ruins the discussions"
Normally that's how I feel about official threads, but every single political "discussion" thread I've seen here degenerates into the exact same thread as all the others, after only a few posts of discussing the specific thread topic.

Since the mods have shown no interest in blocking off-topic from the main forum page, giving us the option to block off-topic from the main forum page, or even making sure there isn't more than one political thread open at the same time.  They're all the same damn thread anyhow, so I don't see why there should be so damn many of them floating around.

Here is Ronald Reagan speaking for the American Medical Association (before he became President).  It's ten minutes long, but is absolutely riveting.

That was quite a good video.  Whenever people talk about socialism or communism, I always think of this song from a HIGHLY liberal musician that I just love.  Randy Newman - The World Isn't Fair

The big one that's bothering me lately is "desperate."  I'm noticing this more and more lately.
Someone you don't like do something smart that will help them in some way?  Just call it "desperate."

Dumbass grammar mistakes all over the damn internet get on my nerves as well.
your / you're
two / to / too
their / they're / there
etc.  You people who do this dumb shit should not even be allowed to own keyboards.

I could not agree more.  This is only going to get worse as the election continues. : (

"I really dislike the Muffs cover of "Kids in America" mainly because they are an untalented, and unheard of band taking the place of a different and better artist. The original was mediocre anyway. And "Rebel Girl" really annoys me."
The Muffs > You

I'll agree it's not a great cover, but their albums are pretty damn good.  And while the original was better, I'd hardly call Kim Wilde a "better aritst," and that's coming from someone who owns her greatest hits album.  It's just a shame the Muffs didn't get one of their own songs on the disc.

I have no idea why people are so hyped about this.  For the same price you can own the game on an actual CD that comes with a book and a case.  It would be nice if the downloadable version was $20 and the retail was $30 or something like that, but with this you're actually paying the same thing but getting less.
