To me it's not that salty honestly. Of course i grew up with the stuff, but there's far worse available in terms of  oral cavity abuse. Djungelvrål for instance is salty even for me. This is certainly the weirdest though. Just a black box filled with gritty dust.

@creamypies: It's a superbly scandinavian candy with the worst commercial profile ever invented. It's basically a salty licorice powder that you eat out of a hockey-puck-like can. I think it's absolutely amazing stuff (ever since i was a kid), but i also totally understand how horrific it must be to non-dinavians.

I've literally seen people run panicked out of the room at the first taste of the stuff

@tiwi: You can just up and ask for them actually. If they sell the stuff they have it in storage. Be prepared for somewhat strange stares however

Dude, taking your tracks out of the DS-10 and further editing them in other packages totally defeats the point. I have a full studio of gear; what this is about is what you can get out of the DS-10. Removed from the DS context, it's a very basic softsynth with a sub-par sequencer and a gentle poke at modularity; you might as well use any other synth then.

Speaking of which; Here's some blerpy electro shit.

Not to be a jerk about it, but the kaossilator is a gimmicky piece of crap that korg should be ashamed of. If i were you, i'd simply pick up a mini-KP and route your DS through it; much more interesting output.

I'm definitely getting plus, but i didn't get my DSi for it. What i will say though is that DS-10 plus fixes pretty much everything i complain about with DS-10 vanilla, and if you are serious about making electronic music on the go with a good softsynth emu and a decent gui that takes itself seriously, i'd get a DSi for this. DS-10 has barely left my DS since i imported it way back. It's that good.

The first Bonk was pure monotony, but the games really got pretty cool as they went on and embraced their surrealism. Looking forward to seeing how the world copes with a mutant hydrocephalic caveman headbutting baby

That's my second 330 to RROD on me. I suppose we're all used to this kind of stuff now? When it stutters to a halt and refuses to restart, the feeling i'm getting at this point isn't the HOLY SHIT WHAT THE HELL IS THIS i felt when my Dreamcast's disc drive died, but more a deep sigh of disappointment; It's just what 360s do.
They have this wonderful machine that gives so much joy, but then it goes and just up and dies no matter how well you've treated it. It's a profoundly saddening experience, mostly because of how MS seem to have resigned to this simply being a facet of their platform. I get the feeling that they fully expect 360s to die, so, y'know, send us your box and we'll give you a quick fix!

Oh Xbox 360.. You're like an adorable wonderful heartwarming kitten most of the time. A loud growly one sometimes but lovable nonetheless. Why'd you have to go and poop in my bed huh? Why do you do that? I love you!

The worst thing now is i've been eagerly expecting Arkham Asylum, and now i can't play it for a long time. Can't afford buying a new box, and getting it fixed will take forever.

Interesting sidenote; The stutter and crashing started after a couple of length Shadow Complex sessions. My first 360 died after a few lengthy Gears of War sessions. So far, UnrealEngine3 seems to be the #1 way to go if RROD is how you wanna roll. Hello paranoia!
