Having watched a lot of Gintama has caused me to go back to Yakuza Ishin and finish it. I think this game might have the best combat system in the series, next to Yakuza 0, as I just love it. It's one of the best samurai games out there.
The game's online features were really fun and creative, I like the way you could share your own quirky photo hints for other players, and they can use them to find treasure of Dusty Tokens used to unlock costumes. I also liked how you could challenge other players to do the different challenges in a time frame, beat their score in real-time.
All of that is going away later this month so if you haven't played the game yet, it might be about time to assemble some tokens to unlock stuff! And have fun with the photo mode!
Gravity Rush 2 was my GOTY for 2017 with its unique mechanics and world, and its surprisingly emotional story. Even if @JapanStudio_JP shuts the servers down—and I ask you to reconsider, @yosp—I hope those who've yet to play the series give it a chance. #DontForgetGravityRushpic.twitter.com/wLH7tz2XUP
Ok it took longer than expected for me, but I did a lot of testing. Here is what I did: - traveled around all parts to every spot I know - searched in places around them, sometimes I remembered another spot - most spots missed were probably in Lei Elgona [...]
Results: - every round took me ~2-3h - only found a treasure in 4 rounds, on a different day - average 4:20 => 16:100, so a 16% chance to find a treasure, IF YOU KNOW WHERE.
also it could be simply luck on my site, maybe someone [...]
I don’t think the story has any connection to Gallia, it seems to be centered on a new Europan War. But I would recommend playing the first game either way. It’s a great game.
I think it's the best one, the combat is a mess but I found it to be doable as the RPG mechanics more than made up for it. It's the only game in the series where stats matter, and dialogue checks are a big aspect of that. The writing is also at its peak, the characters felt more real and grounded, unlike the sequels where most of the cast talks with a throaty Dirty Harry voice, like they are in a B-movie.
Yep, prefer having a copy of my game in my room instead of renting from a third party source. I know that installation is mandatory on consoles now, but regardless, I still resort to physical, same with my movie and music collection. Plus it's cheaper too through the retailer I use, than the likes of the PSN store that charges the same prices as a local Gamestop.
And I don't care about having to download my games with a terrible internet speed I have, I don't feel the need in having to rely on that.
