I don't see how Jeff could say that they would be disappointed in the coming episodes during the GOTY deliberations. This has been powerful stuff.
Likely all he did was skim over a synopsis and see something like 'Oh so she just ends up retconning the whole game' which without any of the build sounds just as bad as 'It was all a dream'.
Jeff looked at the plot summary on Wikipedia. You can go there and look for yourself - it's very 'dry'
I just listened to the Day 4 GOTY podcast, and hearing Jeff cynically swipe away and sense of hope from Vinny, Alex and Austin by reading wikipedia for the plot was just cruel and unnecessary.
wait wait did he read it OUT LOUD TO THEM???? FUCK.... ok if he did that where do I send the hatemail? I mean I knew it was going to go the way it did as he hates adventure/RPG's/Computer games with a passion but man ... if he did that he was a dick and the next mail bag needs to be of people sending him a big bag of poop or something ... sigh...
Just listened to it again, it's during the debates for Best Story. Brad has asked how the plot arcs over the episodes.
Vinny, Alex & Austin tell the Westies that all of the main characters are interwoven Max->Chloe->Rachel->Frank->Nathan (and Victoria)->Kate, that there's the main Rachel plot, the incoming apocalypse plot, and the teen drama sub-plots, and they don't know what's coming next. Jeff says he's looked up the plots for the (two) episodes they hadn't played at the time and says he doesn't think the remaining episodes 'will make good on anything you're talking about' - but he would still like to play it some day.
Not to be a total downer or anything, but this is actually a list of the top five IPAD games of the year. Now, you may think all 5 of these games is better than anything on Android, but for anyone that doesn't do apple products, this list is irrelevant.
Lifeline is the only one of the five mentioned games that is iOS-exclusive.
I couldn't stop Kate during the ending to episode 2 when I played it on PS4 earlier this year, so I didn't get to see the hospital sequence. It's a good pick-me-up after the Chloe dilemma.
Is this some bizarre social experiment we'll all find out about later? "What happens when people watch something where the hosts take the exact opposite advice of everyone watching?"

It seems like it would be a good idea for Vinny, or whoever else has access to the tools, to put links to the rest of the videos since they aren't exactly named well.
I'm confused. This is the THIRD time GBEast has played LiS, right? There were some problems with the second video, as far as I can remember, right? So, where is it? Because the search is giving me just three CooA videos (two for LiS, one for Fleshy Puzzle) :(
The first video has weirdly been delisted from search. I made a bug report about it. The quickest way to find all the Choose Our Own Adventure video is to go to Videos -> Features, where you can easily see all 4 videos that have been made so far.
