Just wanted to add that, if someone is having issues with G-Sync not working in this game, try checking your monitor settings. The game apperently didn't like that I cloned my monitor to my TV, so I turned that off and G-Sync was working again. Never been a problem in other games, so it might be a iD Tech engine issue with that kind of monitor setup.
I mostly used NeoGaf as a great and fast source for news. Had an account for years, but never posted enough to lose the "junior" status. So yeah the meltdown of Gaf has left a giant news hole for me, and it's bumming me out. That said with all the stuff that seemed to be going on in the background, it's probably best for it to stay dead and let a new site rise.
Seeing K-mag getting those red shoes on and just overtaking during the last bit of the race, was quite fun. Overall enjoyable race. Ricciardo is a treasure to this sport.
Nico Hulkenberg has signed a 2-year contract with Renault, according to Autosport.com. There's also been some rumblings about Valtteri Bottas maybe moving to Renault next year. The drivers are obviously impressed at the things Renault have planned for the following years, but it'll be interesting to see how they'll stack up against Red Bull.
Force India have apparently confirmed that the Hulk has left the building, so it's just a matter of time before he's confirmed at Renault. I think Bottas was their option if they didn't get Hulk. Personally, I think it's a smart move. Force India do marvels for their budget, but this is the best they are ever going to get unless Mallya sells the team and they get some proper funding. Renault aren't here to make up the numbers and I wouldn't be surprised if they've spent a lot of this year developing next year's car. I'm not saying they'll instantly become a race winner, but manufacturer backing and the prospect of being numero uno over there must be very tempting. So who's going to be next to him, or is it a straight race between Magnussen and Ocon?
I actually think there's a good chance that K-Mag stays. Ocon is a Mercedes talent driver first a foremost, so it would make a lot of sense for him to drive a Mercedes powered car. With a seat open at Force India I woudn't be all that surprised to see him there.
Can we bring back @rorie reviews? I don't care what he's reviewing, just as long as he uses the puppy scale. Great video, brings back a lot of fond memRORIES(sorry).
