I'm getting the list of images associated with a game, but all the payload seems to contain is the box art. Even the screen_large_url item is just a big version of the box art.

For instance, for CoD:BLOPS4 I get the following from the screen_large_url, wheras the actual page has this as it's image in the background

It doesn't look like the images are tagged in a specific way, and there is nothing specific I can find in the API

Is there a way of getting the background image from the API?

That's a definite tone shift from that trailer, which is a good thing.

I'm kinda disappointed in myself how much that trailer got me excited...

@attropheed: I did some poking around in the code and the Kodi addon is broken, it's not adding the API key to the end of video request.

I can post some code to fix it if that would help?

Also confirming that the Kodi v16 addon via OSMC has stopped working, continually getting the error message video.

Tried unlinking and relinking and multiple quality settings, to no avail.

Kodi Add-On is giving me the Error Message video for everything. Unlinking and Linking didn't help.

Everything seems OK on the actual site for me, including HTML5 and HD, both subscriber and standard vids.

I'm seeing the artifacts too, both on my XBMC and just in the browser

I'm also getting the same thing that deaditelord mentioned, specifically with the DMC4 QL.

@deaditelord said:

I've also been experiencing similar video issues recently when watching on my Roku 3. The recent Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition Quick Look actually crashes on the Roku 3 at some point after the 7 minute mark (around 7:20 I think - Roku 3 doesn't include a seconds counter so I just manually counted it).

I'm in the same boat here in terms of playing videos with Chrome. The headline video on the front page will play fine, but when going into a videos actual page to play it, the Chrome tab locks up and just spins. The red play button never shows, and nothing on the page is interactable

The DevTools are showing no JS errors but there is a bunch of pending AJAX requests, but that might just be cause something else is stalling it.

I've re-written this about 20 times now.

Still can't quite believe it. Affecting me more than it should for a man I never met, but feel like I know so well.

My deepest thoughts and condolences go out to his wife, his family, friends and the rest of the GB crew.

Same thing has happened to me. Went on to watch yesterdays TNT, and I couldn't. My Billing history is totally blank.

Should we be PMing someone about this?

Normally I use the HTML5 player (works better on my laptop for some reason) but since the new site launched, it has become not so great.

The framerate of the video will start to drop a bit then come back, while the audio continues at normal speed, putting the two out of sync by as much as 5-7 seconds. Eventually the audio will stop, the video will catch up and then both will start again in sync for a while.

When viewing the same video in the Streaming player, it seems to have the same "hitching" that other people are talking about so this might just be the way the HTML5 player handles not having enough buffered data.

Is this the same issue? If it is, is there definitely a performance improvement coming?
