Generally, every stick is the exact same, except with different artwork. Plus, most sticks can have their parts replaced if you prefer different things, like the 8 way stick vs the 4 way stick.
I'm using the BlazBlue Tournament Edition. It's the "Mad Catz Tournament Edition" being mentioned, but with limited edition artwork featuring, you guessed it, BlazBlue. Plus, only 3000 were made, so I get to feel special. With 2999 other people.
MvC3 has been available on PS3 and Xbox 360 on Demonoid for some time now.

It's completely possible to do. 1) Make sure that your firmware is up to date. 2) Make sure your game is stealth patched 3) Make sure that the angle is not too high, or it could cause a detectable bad response. *Note: The new firmware fixes much of this.
However, I would NOT recommend doing it. There is always a risk if you're connected to Live. Always. It's much safer to simply play online games on a non-modded console.
Also, to ask the obvious question that hasn't been asked.
You're sure it was your ACCOUNT, not your CONSOLE, right? Like, if you're using a hacked console and pirating games, they don't ban your account, they ban the console.
As an actual "hacker" (as in, somebody who works on these hacked consoles, not just a user who downloads them off a website and says "LOL I IZ HACKA!"), this firmware update isn't a big concern. If you've been observing the hacking community for some time, you know that staying offline after each patch is important, just like how for pirates, pirating a game that just came out and then playing it is incredibly dangerous, as the wave may have been updated or such.
Give it some time, and we'll have an update available. All that's needed to circumvent this new update from Sony is a way to feed the PS3 false information.
Also, I'd like to correct some of the users here, since they seem to have a rather ignorant opinion on hackers: Hacking allows us to install Linux, like we were allowed too back when the PS3 came out. It allows us to customize the PS3 how we want, allows us to watch movies in formats not supported (see: MKV for my anime), etc. The general hacker is NOT FUCKING WITH GAMES. You're doing what Fox News does when it claims all Muslims are evil because the extremists want to hurt people. You and I both know that this is not the case.
