As someone who is of partial Asian descent, I always considered this game racist bullshit.
As I put it to @arbitrarywater and @thatpinguino many years ago, Jade Empire is the video game equivalent of a white suburban mom who watched one PBS documentary about the 60s Civil Rights Movement and now claims to be an expert about race relations in the USA.
This show definitely has room to grow (I'd like to hear a little bit about how the album was received when it came out, personally) but this was a good first episode and I'll definitely be following along
I like this suggestion a lot. It'd be nice to understand how wider audiences or critics viewed the album to better gauge how most people view it.
I also agree with this piece of input. I think discussing multiple viewpoints, especially general audience platforms and critics, allows the feature to provide further clarity.
You don't have to get Robert Christgau-levels deep on this aspect, but it would be nice.
When I think of The Last Remnant I cannot help but think about @dochaus and how their attempt to finish the game slowly ate away at their humanity. It was really something.
Now that the big Warhammer III event is basically over, I fell pretty good about my predictions for Warriors of Chaos. I talked it out with @arbitrarywaterfor a bit, but I feel like with the confirmation that the Realm of Chaos will be represented that they are going to play into the mono Chaos Gods. Also, Be'lakor has to be a given at this point.
