The BD Double T has a deep bench of Top Moments, but getting Jeff to say "pwease" might be the Most Top.

If Breakpoint didn't have gearscore I'd be way more willing to give it a shot after seeing this beta, but I don't think they take that out. The idea that in this "survival" game, which seems really watered down anyway, you need to dump you weapons for ones with magically bigger numbers is silly to me. Half the fun was cosplaying special forces divisions but if you have to luck into the right weapon you can't really do that.

Ghost Recon Fyre Festival?

FYI PSA because Jason brought it up, recent windows updates have totally fucked up how read/write permissions for windows-live accounts are the primary administrator- Almost identical issue happened to me for about a week until I dug through all the stupid and badly designed WIN10 diagnostic toggles and set my login as a 'Local Account (which is the same email used to authenticate windows, but apparently the sign-in-sign-up-for-microsoft-bullshit creates a second,. completely neutered, non-functional-admin-but-not-admin account which is HELL of confusing until you dedicate a saturday to it. So I feel you Jason, it's a thing.

Secondly I'm super glad-to-be-right in my gut feelings on CONTROL enough to pre-order,, because I lost out on literally nothing and stood to gain this year's stand out surprise/success for what I thought would JUST be kind of a tech demo (it is that, RTX looks fucking insane, and after you mess with resolution scaling, surprisingly actually holds a solid 40-50fps on a gtx1080? How is that possible?), but also that game is straight up BAD ASS. Especially with cheat trainer with toggleable speedhack so you can straight up mix max payne ...debris-time? Anomaly time? into it. Something I bet Jeff would LOVE to mess with. I can't make any progress because messing with physics in RTX in slow motion is...something man. Setting everything to .25 speed and hurling a chair through a reflective transparent glass pane, and watching it go from crazy reflective to crazy breakables in that slow motion time is hypnotic.

But...as far as a game you put the A TEAM theme on to to be the badass-kind-of-game-which I loved WIldlands for, unmitigated ridiculous cartoon military silliness in this very seriously presented realism context-...I'm not sure Breakpoint will allow enough of that. Gear score and CLASSES? I thought....no I KNEW, GHOST RECON was built FOR PEOPLE WHO DON'T PLAY THE DIVISION BECAUSE BULLET SPONGE boring ass no-stakes, WHICH......what are you doing! Why would you put that in an intentionally realistic TTK game?? Unless they REALLY want to move into the survival aspects, I'm not even sure they now what the fuck they were trying to do. I obviously will play it and hope for the best but yeah right now everything I've heard has been disappointing at best. I'm sure I will dupe myself into enjoying the parts that held over from Wildlands, but for the stupid in me that made me pre-order based on how much I enjoyed the previous, Breakpoint already seems like the game isn't what I wanted more of out of that series.

That said, for everything Ghost Recon Brokenpoint bums me out about, holy shit is this year good for games that are above this ubisoft baloney.
