I happened to love the podcast. I don't see how it could be disappointing that others do or don't. I found it easier to analyze my current relationship, with the context of these stories. To get a different perspective on my own actions. How we might just be keeping it going because it was just easier to avoid ending it.

I found this podcast funny, am am some one who likes to say the shit that makes people uncomfortable. Usually I don't but i just think it and keep it to my self. People get to touchy about things that are just jokes, or just thoughts. Jokingly suggesting cheating is not the same as actually suggesting it. The mere mention of it does not mean "HEY GO OUT AND DO THIS". The kind of person that would do that is really shitty anyways. It's the same as implying violence in media encourages physical violence.

It's not the dissenting opinion that is the problem, it's this incessant need among a certain group of male gamers to be offended at almost anything nowadays, seemingly determined to see controversy in everything, always on the cusp of coming out with some stupid shit like "they were probably too afraid to disagree with a pretty girl". She's a comedian, she made a joke, she walked it back with a more telling acknowledgement of her true opinion, and the world carried on but for a handful of males desperate to find the next female to be outraged by.

Oh yes, he brings a lot of cool stuff to the site.

@chunnnnnnnn: It's going to be super rough when a woman finally joins GB and voices even a slightly differing opinion and perspective than one of the guys on a podcast or video. Most will be fine, but there's going to be that subset of commenters who will lose their shit and sling around words like "bitch" or "arrogant".

And frankly I don't see GB hiring a shrinking violet (not that the very badass Nikki Glaser is one), so I'm sure she'll be able to handle herself in the face of a few whiny internet assholes.

its almost as dumb as taking the words of a comedian so seriously. I think you've put to much emphasis on the dollar amount because I think what she was trying to get across was that a family should be well off before having kids, at least that's how it came across to me.

Yeah. For the record I of course support women and the feminist "quest" for equality, 100 percent. (certain issues are a bit overblown in my humble opinion though and some people use social justice in ugly ways).

Anyway, I just don't think, in my mind at least, when men refer to themselves as feminists that it makes sense in anyway. It comes across to me like an oxymoron, like women need you (a man) to join their cause and that to me is inherently a sexist idea. Just don't step or stand in the way of equality. Be a social humanitarian. Thats the way I look at it at least. Also I don't mean to derail or start any debate. So if anyone opposes what I just said or takes it personal or whatever, I am not going to engage. This is not the right forum. :b

Fantastic episode. I watched a minute of Nikki's stuff before this to prime myself, but made a quick decision that I didn't like her stuff. Now that I heard her here I'm gonna go check her out again.

Great epsiode, Nikki was hilarious

The way I see it, if the person you're dating can get so freaked out at the mere mention of your fetish that it could spell the end, you were probably never compatible to begin with. I've only been sexually involved with two girls, and both of them were willing to pee in my mouth. Had they declined in an amicable manner, that would've been fine -- it's not a dealbreaker. However, had their reaction been "That's disgusting, get away from me you creep!" Well... things weren't gonna work out anyway, as this person clearly takes life too seriously for my tastes.

But what do I know, really. The longest relationship I've been in lasted 3 months. The person who wrote in said they'd been together for over a year now. Do what works best for you, I guess.

@cav86: well I seem to remember saying this would be more of a serious podcast. So yeah I did take what she said seriously because it didn't sound like she was joking when she said it. It's not like I'm angry about it it was just a dumb thing to say even if it was a joke. Kind of like the rape joke.

I guess I have horrible taste because I didn't find anything in this offensive. Maybe it's because I tend to listen to the broader strokes of what someone is saying and feel out where they are coming from as opposed to clinging to a specific sentence or in-the-moment riff in a casual conversation. I sometimes even allow people clarify or correct something they said before!

@undeadpool: I can just imagine what the comments section will be like for the upcoming Danswers featuring Samantha. I was hoping it wouldn't be a crazy nightmare, but some of these comments don't give me much hope.
