btw, the universe has no actual center. The center is everywhere.

Damn, I forgot about that.

It must have been the galaxy then.

That is unfortunate

It just gives me a headache to think about the Big Bang and that everything was already there in a tiny tiny tiny space but that's the way it is :)

So I've been trying to stay away from all things NMS but I am aware about the leak and the guy reaching the centre of the galaxy.

Thing is, Brad stated that that was the game completed....but isn't they're literally billions of galaxies? Therefore, wouldn't the completion criteria, using that logic, be getting to the centre of the universe?

Which, for all I know is impossible as I'm not even sure what ship upgrades you have (though I'm assuming there is some sort of warp drive).

He did get to the center of the universe as far as I've heard. But depending on where you start (which is random), the upgrades/resources you can find and the distance to that center can differ I guess. Since that is one of the major goals of the game it's obviously possible, and Hello Games said they expected the game to be at least 30 hours, it seems likely that you can reach the center of the universe if you focus all of your effort into that fairly "quickly".

Really? I thought he only got to the centre of one galaxy (the one he started out in)

I try to stay away from the spoilers as well, but I heard the first claim was he reached the center of the galaxy, and the next day the center of the universe.

And the universe has a central "area" which would probably still be huge. I assume it's in this area that the "answer" or whatever you are looking for in the game, is located.

Yeah, maybe the universe in the game has a center so there is a goal to the game.. I don't know.

The contents of Overwatch loot boxes are determined when you earn them, not when you open them. So saving old loot boxes won't do anything.

(Just to be clear up front, I am not legitimately angry, more slightly annoyed and amused)

I have grown to like Dan and his unique perspectives, but goddamn his stupid wolf argument is the height of "old Dan" ignorance. I think he might be trolling, but with Dan you never know. While a german shepherd that was been trained by police is dangerous, it is no comparison to a wolf. Wolves are apex predators, so there is not much in the food chain that they could not take out, especially in a pack. But even a single wolf against an unarmed martial artist would be a mismatch, one against an unarmed Dan would be a blood bath.

For example, a german shepherd can bite with a force of 238 PSI. Now compare that to a wolf: "A wolf’s normal bite force is around 400 pounds. If it is protecting itself, a large wolf can bite down with over 1,200 pounds of pressure" The average male wolf weighs 66-180 pounds, so lets split the difference and say 120lbs. A wolf that is 120lbs going quickly straight for a person's arm or neck with 600 PSI bite would be fatale for an average person not trained in combat or without any fight experience. You might get one shot to get it by the neck (which is no guarantee) and at how fast they move extremely unlikely. Maybe Dan should look into what wolves actually can do before he makes any more claims.

An average male wolf weighs 66-180pounds? That's not an average, that's a range. They weigh around 100pounds. 1200 pounds of pressure? Can we see the science? Either way, not enough to brake a large bone, which is where they bite.

Sure, if Dan says police dogs are scary and wouldn't want to fight them, he is in for a surprise with a wolf, but I've never heard of someone dying from a broken forearm.

If you ever "fought" with a big dog over a knotted rope, you'd know a 100lbs wolf wouldn't be able to dictate a fight with a grown man. I'd rather fight a 100lbs wolf than a 30lbs lynx. Unless that wolf gets a hold of your face, which is unlikely on a first strike, a wolf/dog encounter is usually a non-lethal encounter.

People kick and knee each other in martial arts everyday, [almost] nobody gets hurt. One kick, let alone a knee, on a wolf's limbs or ribs though.

With all that said and done, Dan saying he could take a wolf had nothing to do with actual wolves, but Alex "The Wolf" Navarro. Dan is prepping for something...

If I had to live in NYC - if I was rich - I would definely consider spending my bank one of those $14K a month places. A nice 4 bedroom place, so I would invite my friends to a nice 'Upper West side' place.

I pay $1,500 a month now for 600 sq ft...somehow paying 10x as much for more room in Manhattan sounds okay.
