Quick Look: Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier

Holy Cow, I stopped plaing JnD at 3 but who the hell is that? Daxter on Dark Eco?!?!? and best of all it actually looks good... I didn't think they could make a smaller system port actully decent

Picked this up today and played the first couple of hours. It's much more fun than this video might let on, and picks up a lot right after the point they stop playing in this QL. So far, it seems like a pretty faithful and solid entry into the series. It has some flaws, but I'm enjoying it quite a bit.

this ql would have been amazing if brad fell off that cliff.

i loved the jak and daxter series
they had excellent characters to make the gamer actually like them and an excellent story line to go along with it.
also the weapons in the game where just plain fucking awesome.

They should do a Sewer Shark Quick Look is what I got out of this Quick Look.

And here I was thinking it reminded me of the best game ever: Fury 3.  In trying to find an image of it, I realized IT ISN'T ON THE SITE!  WTF GUYS!  Alright, that does it, I'm making a goddamn Fury 3 page.

Those buzzsaw enemies Brad was fighting at the end is totally a rip off of an early enemy in the first Ratchet and Clank game.  They didn't even change the color.

I don't think this looks as good as the earlier games in terms of animation, story, gameplay. I'll probably will pick it up at some point though because I love the Jak series.

Alternate line for Jeff saying "You're gonna want to get though that door before it closes":  channel Peppy and say, "USE THE BOOST TO CHASE!"

Okay, so I come here to watch the Jak & Daxter QL and learn a little history as well.  I am pretty sure this is the best site ever and an awesome group of people.  I love the little snippets of little known facts or tangent subjects, yet totally relate to the actual topic.
 
Any review coming for this game (waiting for the PS2 ver. to come in to compare)?  Or just the quick look?

I have not play a Jak game since the first one.

Brad keep rockin' the QL's.  We just want to see the game doesn't matter if you get stuck in the part.  Plus its a good laugh to see someone die a few times.

The Jak and Daxter series doesn't seem to be aging very gracefully (gameplay). The game certainly looks good though. Been so busy working that I forgot how much I loved QL's. Yeah that's right, I get depressed when away from the interweb.

I chose the Jak and Daxter series over Rachet and Clank.  I want a PS3 Jak and Daxter game!
