I don't like the faces

David Cage is probably pulling his hair out right now, cause this is the sort of game he wanted to make when he made Uncanny Heavy Rain Valley.

Was waiting for them to do a quick look of it but quickly got annoyed at Brad just purposely stopping at actual clues to get or lines of inquiry just so we are not spoiled.

You know, prior to all the recent media coverage of LA Noire, I've had no intention of in playing the game at all. I've played past GTA games and Red Dead Redempion, and they've never been able to hold my interest for long. Up until now I thought LA Noire was going to be another GTA-type game set in the 1940's, but I'm happy to see I was wrong. This looks really, really interesting. I like how the gameplay focus is on actual detective work. Also, the faces, my god the faces. 

Diggin' it. 

This thing has really brought out the Aussie pride in me.

I have to say I had my doubts. But now I am genuinely interested. I might have to pick this up soon.

I love these Quick Looks, they always give me the right information about the games to determine if I want to get them or not. :)

The 40's era depiction in this game is pretty authentic alright. The city, the fashion, the cars, and so is prejudice and racism.

Brad's review pretty much had me convinced to get this at some point (my taste in games is fairly similar to Brad's), but this quick look.... man.... I'm pre-ordering this RIGHT NOW!

the body animations (especially for background characters) become extremely distracting, given how realistic the faces look and animate.... one step at a time though right?

Reading the review: Brad suggests the PS3 is the better option over the Xbox360 (pop-up and frame-rate issues on Xbox360). If I buy this later this week on PS3, I'm wondering: Is Shit Still Broke? Will the game even work?

oh my gawd- so good.  I knew the guys who were responsible for the getaway could do gravitas but had no clue they could do it so well!  And make a good game...  Also glad the package is on the truck for delivery then!

The black and white looks like normal black and white to me...nothing special, maybe the video doesn't show it so well.

Can't wait until I get my hands on this game...

Is brad driving in this QL? If so I'll wait with watching it until I've finished the game. Yeah that's right, i said it.

PSN came back up last weekend. The Social Club stuff in the PS3 version works fine now. Get with the times man!

I'm going to absolutely enjoy watching this QL before I go out and grab it.  It's too bad that the open world stuff seems sorta limited.

This is my kinda game.

Still getting the uncanny valley vibe, but actually it's not nearly as pronounced as I would have expected. Body animation still a little weird - too smoothed out or something, though not as much as it always was in GTA.

God Damn Brad, now I have to spend money!
