this game looks like it holds your hand a little too much

and damn i bet that boss fight was never supposed to take that long; good thing jeff was there to tell ryan how to play or it may have lasted about 20 more minutes lol

Ninja gaiden for dummies?  Count me in!

It doesn't actually look too bad.

Little Ninja Gaiden, lot of Shinobi and God of War.

Surprisingly, X-Play really liked this. I wasn't crazy about the demo and I hate From Software for doing the crappiest of Tenchu games, but this doesn't look as horrible.

Looks okay to me. I have no loyalty to Tecmo or the Ninja Gaiden games. A good game is a good game.

That dodging during the boss fight was so ridiculous and stupid and ridiculously stupid. And not in any kind of good way.

Honestly, I think this game needs far more quick time events. It was really lacking in that regard, and gave way too much control to the player.

Looks like a solid Rent.

OK, I get having cinematics for weird stuff that needs explaining outside of gameplay.  I've heard Metal Gear tends to do a good job of that.  Fine.  But why do they spend SO MUCH TIME talking about cliched stuff that we could understand in a few in-game sentences??

This game doesnt make any sense at all....and the demo sucked.

It's a pretty good game. The QTEs really stylize it and make it different from being just a Ninja Gaiden or DMC clone.  I enjoyed it a lot and plan on going through the hard mode, it shouldn't be knocked off anyway...

Wow, thanks for the quick look. That is one game I am not going to play.  I hate replaying scenes over and over again and with all those quick time events, I'm sure that would happen.

I love that despite the fact the game told ryan to use ninja vision, he didn't, making the mini boss fight 200 times longer than it should be.

Bought this tonight and love it.
It's non stop rollercoster.
Ryan didn't realise that you can kill that mini boss in 4 shots if you deflect it's almost invisible wave things just by hitting them before they hit you.

Looks decent except for the excessive QTEs.

i cant believe it took you that long to kill that worm dude. you didnt use the adrenaline boost which ups the damage and strength. I killed that worm and only had to dodge like 5 times total.

Oh and after that part you kill another worm in a cool way and then get this you RIDE A MISSLE LIKE A SURFBOARD>>>>>>IM SERIOUS

and wtf people QTE does not = automatic failure. give it a try and you will see this game does QTE the correct way and it feels much different than QTE in other games.

too much of the same, repitition is so not key.
