I wouldn't call them more advanced or mature, but they're hardly "stupid and hard". They can be annoying, depending on how they're handled.

This looks way complicated. And I'm not fond of the first person-ness. I was feeling really excited when I saw this at the store the other day, but this has actually made me rethink. I'm sure I'll get it eventually, but I think I'll work on Persona 3 first. And finish Persona 4, of course. ^_^

I know you posted this a while ago, but I thought I should correct you on something.

The demon negotiation is something from Shin Megami Tensei (I never played Megami Tensei for the NES, so I don't know if it was in that.), all the way back from the SNES. Persona is a spin-off from Shin Megami Tensei, which is why it uses it. Devil Summoner is called "Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner", so it actually got the negotiation stuff from Shin Megami Tensei, not Persona.

I remember playing the original Persona on the PlayStation and not liking it at all. This QL reminded me of that. Ugh.

Really enjoyed this game, just felt there was a bit too much grinding required as the last dungeon had some enemies that could wipe me out in one turn if things fell that way. Still fun to play though.
