I really like it, at first I thought there was too much blurry stuff but then it cleared up a bit and it was awesome.

It's difficult to make out all the faces anymore, and opinion tend to be critical, often with references to quality or value.  Some trolling, flaming, and spam (botspam) occurs.  (High popularity) - User communication is more frequent, but also more brief. Dissenting opinions everywhere, often leading you to begin questioning if people enjoy games as a hobby anymore, and just prefer to spend dollar after dollar for the sole purpose of arguing against a game and it's "(insert negative character assumption) developers." There are still plenty of people who enjoy games in the community, and enthusiasm is shown among users, yet a sea of gamers judging a game early, critically, and often with lofty expectations and levels of entitlement are still present.  Giant Bomb is just getting more popular, guys. A good thing, but I am very sick of everyone being hateful about their opinions in NEARLY EVERY GAMING SITE I GO TO. "

Not a fan of the cartoony character design. I like what they did with the environmental effects and stuff though.

i really really dislike that 2 frame running animation.

The first one was crazy hard.  The only thing I ever completed was the co-op levels.  Seeing how they did seem to make this less crazy I might try this.

This looks very cool. And it doesn't seem to be as brutally hard as I heard the first one to be.

Will you guys be reviewing this game?

This just looks like a free flash game that doesn't get any one thing particularly right.

It's amazing what we'll pay $10-$20 for because we can play it on a TV while games 10x better than this visually and control wise on a phone are going for $1.

So what was the first screen for if they interrupt the second with controls?

I've never even heard of the original but this looks kickass. 
 
the writing and cutscenes make me giggle with their over-the-top silliness and the gameplay looks like something out of a scott pilgrim fight.

First game was awesome. I'll probably pick this up.

Loved the first game. Alot of people seem to take the style wayyy too seriously for some reason.

I like the style of this game still but it looks like it get's just as monotonous as the first one did.

So apart from the lack of overt boobage, how is this not just a 2D Onechanbara?

Wow is there a lot of negativity here. How many of these people would have even known this game existed if there wasn't a QL for it? I can understand the people talking about how the art isn't for them, but when people are crying ANGST and EMO for a game that made Jeff and Ryan laugh out loud on purpose just seems like they judged the ENTIRE content of the game by the art style. Also the people on here who are judging the gameplay when they haven't played it themselves and in fact it is impossible for them to have played it unless they've gone to a con where it's playable. Not calling anyone out in particular, just seems like people bitching for the sake of bitching on this game.

I hate the general presentation too but goddamn if the original wasn't basically near Ninja Gaiden/DMC hybrid brawler perfection. This is a must-buy.

This game looks very interesting stylistically. I'm not that sure about the game mechanics but still, I'd love to give this a try.

Gameplay looks fun.  Artstyle is ugly as sin.  You can do dark and gritty without making the whole thing sloppy.   What I'm seeing in this game is a lot of sloppy drawings with blurry filters and shakey camera to cover it up.

This game is fuckin amazing mechanically.
 
If you can dish out combos then you can juggle enemies for damn ever, it looks sick, feels satisfying, and it was the same for DWDS1. Fantastic, melodic, mind trippin' sequel from a great named design studio.

Hand drawn sprites are the worst thing to ever happen to 2D games. Doing stuff effectively in pixel art requires talent, and yields charming stuff. This is not charming; only emo kids would dig the look of this. I have never seen a hand drawn sprite that looked half as awesome as the sprite art for games like Demon's Crest, Mega Man X or Sparkster. Even for games that do it well like Shank and Boy and His Blob for the Wii. But stuff like this? Or your typical Flash game on Newgrounds? Just dogshit. 
 
Usually I complain about XBLA games not coming to PSN, but in this case, you can keep it.
