I agree with 99% of everything said here and my wrestling watching has been spotty recently because of the bad quality. However, it kind of annoys me a little that the guys except Dan gave pretty much no credence to the quality of Paige's promo on Raw. They complain that it's all part of the same old thing... but if I'm not wrong I think Dan was the only one who saw it, and the whole point of the promo was Paige saying exactly what the guys said here which is basically "The "Diva's revolution" is a total crock, and everything's just gunna end up the same as it always was." So if her saying exactly what they, the fans are thinking isn't good enough then what are they supposed to do?

I don't understand this Rusev fued either anymore. At first it made sense, he was a jerk to her, she was making him jealous, ect.

How Lana is practically stalking him for no discernible reason and he just wants to be left alone. No idea what is going on now.

@deadpanjazman: Part of the problem is that the WWE is allowing this stuff to be said and then not doing anything to change the organization. The same controversy arose when CM Punk was going through his pre-quitting phase. Viewers became really excited about reform and once it was over WWE was the same.

There are still things to enjoy about WWE, and I think the complaints are because people want to enjoy MORE, but the WWE isn't putting in the effort.

@nathanxplosion WWE is fun because it is stupid, but it is also fun to complain about the stupidity with friends. It's like comic books and anime.

@larmer: Nah, sounds like he isn't and is just going off what the other guys are talking about, he asked a few times what was going on for clarification, stuff he'd probably know if he was watching.

@ravendark: At least on pocket cast that is what happen when you add the feed with wrong credentials or no credentials at all. Try to check if your username and password is correctly setup on your app.

I had no idea what was going on in the thumbnail before I listened. Thought Seth had a weird wig.

The buck stops with WWE.

THQ/Yuke's devs used to grumble all over the Internet about not getting who they wanted for rosters, or not getting mocap done for moves, and even certain match types that they wanted (the most famous one being War Games) because the WWE said no. WWE wanted them to take out blood in the game when they went PG, and that was the one thing that THQ/Yuke's fought for and managed to keep.

All of this applies to the 2K team now. They don't have a say in who gets in and who doesn't, and considering they did the NXT folks all around the same time (and that included Sasha, who actually said she got scanned on twitter), it leads me to believe that there was a decision made by WWE not to include them. All of this is to say there shouldn't be any heat on 2K or Visual Concepts, because it was never their decision to make. You gotta remember that these were the same people who said "no, you want Sheamus" when THQ asked for CM Punk to be on the cover of WWE '13.

@geekpobre: how do I enter credentials into pocket cast? Or do I need to include them In the url?

@ravendark: you need to include your login info in the url as https://<username>:<password>@<feed url>. Some special characters like ! don't play well with that and in that case you will need to change your password.

@oldirtybearon: I might be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure Yuke's is still the main development team behind the WWE games.

@geekpobre: yeah found a thread talking about it. Not working for me though. I'll double check the password but pocket casts search fails to find the feed. And I didn't have to do it with the beastcast feed or the premium bombcast feed. They just worked. It's weird.

I'm watching wrestling, trying to be a tough guy.

They seem to be way too fixated on main roster WWE for their own sanity. I usually barely pay attention to RAW unless New Day is out there and NXT is my main show nowadays. I know Jeff is always going to dismiss it as the "minor leagues" and I understand that, but they do more in 55 minutes per week to entertain me than 3 interminable hours of RAW.

I realize the end of raw was incredibly dumb... but as a fan of dumb shit I approve.

Two things - Naito with LOS INGOBERNABLES is the best thing he's ever done, and holy crap Candice LeRae cosplaying as Detective Bill Carr and teaming with Detective Dan Barry is the best thing she's done in awhile.

As some one who hasn't watched WWE since the early 2000s, I wanted to say I love this podcast.

@dizzyhippos: Oh SNAP. I've been watching through LU recently and loving it, so this is great news.

NXT is very much another brand in terms of storyline, I think. Sasha going for the top Women's belt of another brand - not a minor league/undercard belt. I think it's been proven a few times that it's silly to think of it as true FCW-style developmental anymore - not when they're selling out the Barclays and Wembley.

I haven't watched wrestling in months and it's just the best feeling. I get all these sweet New Day gifs and that's all I really need.

I dont give a shit about wrestling. I just want to commend whoever wrote the title of this episode.

Honestly the best way to fallow the WWE is the way I do, find some kind of recap that your ok with (like with spandex on uproxx) and just watch the clips of the stuff that dosnt sound terrible on youtube. You miss literally almost nothing and it only takes as long as it takes to read a web page.

Is finding streams online a generation thing? Because you can find near enough anything you want with a quick google, normally within the first 2 or 3 results with "watch online" added. Not that I condone it... but Alex saying an hour of looking seemed crazy.

Also didn't Dan say he watches RAW sometimes on DailyMotion? That's equally illegal as watching LU on there, which you can totally do (again, first result on google).

Anyway, great podcast as usual, even despite the Jericho slander.
