Listen, either normalize the mixdown, or make a Daft Punk-sounding dance track called "Normalize the Mixdown," where one of the staff says "normalize the mixdown" into a talkbox over and over as pulse-pounding beats play over him.

I have no idea what any of the words I just said mean. I dumped like 1,500 marbles onto my keyboard from ceiling height and posted the results.

Is it just my laptop or are these videos skipping a lot lately? The daily dota videos especially.

is it me or does this video seem a bit washed out?

I know they probably are on it, but the video skipping and rewinding has made almost all content to come out this week unwatchable!

It's happening here too. The picture freezes but the audio either loops or skips ahead. I guess its a latency thing as I'm in the UK.

Modders have made a mod to add cockpit views on the PC version already.

Castlestorm is really similar to the flash game Epic War.

I helped test the Speed Racer wii game. I remember telling them I wanted my actions with the wiimote to translate more accurately in the game. They gave me apple juice and cookies.

Castlestorm looks like fun and I hope they release a PC version as I'm done buying XBL games.

@philipduck: I drove an automatic once. Most unnerving fifteen minutes of my life. I don't like the car having control over something I've been doing since I started learning to drive.

Oh, and I'd miss being able to do irresponsible stuff with the clutch if I didn't have it--I sincerely doubt you could get a 1.1 litre engine car with around fifty horsepower to wheelspin from a stop with an automatic gearbox.

Only shitty plasma TVs have burn in. My Samsung 51" plasma TV doesn't have any issues with burn in and actually has a feature where the pixels slightly move around a bit to keep every image, no matter what it is, from ever burning into the TV. However, it is true that fewer plasma TVs have burn in issues but nicer ones do not. I only paid like $650 for my plasma so it wasn't like you needed to get a $2000 TV for that. I still prefer plasma over LED because of the lag and over LCD because of picture quality.

Brad's comment about manual transmissions cracked me up a little, especially after Jeff called out the fact he had not driven in years.

Agreed. I don't plan on ever buying a car with an automatic transmission.

Forgive me if i'm wrong, I know that GB and Double Fine are close, but this just sounds like an 'old boys club' bunch of bullshit to me. It's completely up to the user whether or not to donate, but asking for yet more money when they already funded the first project by far much more money than they envisaged just rubs me up the wrong way. To me it just smells of greed.

The car I was driving for the past few years was a manual transmission. I got really used to it, though it sucked when you were driving around town and wanted a free hand for drinks or something. It died and now I'm in an automatic.

I sort of miss the level of control though. A lot of cars even nowadays actually come with a manual in its base model and as an upgrade you can get automatic (i.e. Dodge Dart, etc.)
