I just payed $65 for a haircut, are haircuts just more expensive in the yay area?

He is more of an engineer similar to Alexis or Dave, less so an editor. I thought he was more on-the-ball than Jeff/Brad considering he was the ONLY person to say the freakin' name of that first-person survival game they were playing! Ark: Survival Evolved. GB can be pretty bad at giving context sometimes. At least maybe say the name of the game when you introduce it, I dunno.

I think these audio sync issues might be on the video player. When it was getting bad I just changed the quality and the audio and video lined back up. The sync would start getting worse as the video went on but changing the quality setting kept bringing it back.

Yeah, I can't get into games like ARK. Something about losing any progress you've made is just unapealing to me. Guess I'm just getting old, too, @Brad.

ARK is much more fun/manageable if you've got friends to play with. Having a tribe to help you build up, and thus ensure that you've got backup materials or tools in the event you die and can't find your body in time, is a lot better than going it alone.

I'm sure that's probably got a lot to do with it. Unfortunately, the group of guys I play with don't really spend time with these survival games either.

running around with the dinos actually seems fun so i'd prefer a single player version with AI enemies; at least you won't have to be so fucking vigilant. which reminds me The Forest seemed the most attractive to me of those games.

I've been getting back into Rust lately. I kinda find the multiplayer aspect of these games kinda fun and interesting. You are basically preparing yourself to kill other people. I mean, I understand people losing their stuff and not liking it, but the game is sorta designed to have a short ramp. Also some of the mods that modded servers have make the game so much easier to get into. Like giving you free shit, letting you teleport, etc.

Apparently. But it also depends on where you go for it, which hair stylist and the like. Paying more than 20 dollars for a haircut is a robbery, IMO.

This is not the first time I've seen them play a game covered fantastically by AVGN, Super Noah's Ark 3d, and no one mentioned it. I figured at least one person in the GB crew would love the AVGN.

I think survival games are a brilliant concept but it's the mad rush that's going on right now which is doing it a disservice.

Now that 50 Cent is bankrupt he needs all of the royalties he's inevitably raking in from Blood on the Sand.

Dayz Mod was great back in the day, but I'm tired of all these crap survival games. I would have no problem if they were good, but they all feel the same, someone cobbled it together in 5 mins in Unity and they don't play great. At least Dayz had great solid mechanics from ARMA 2 and amazing feeling shooting.
