Ah, Red Dead Redemption. That game got completely shafted on that years GOTY. I've never forgiven them for it.

I wouldn't give my money to anyone else to watch them fumble around with video production when everything is breaking around them, no matter how slightly hammed up it is for entertainment purposes. All good!

Watching this mean my life seem less chaotic.

This was an excellent UPF.

And I was one of the few who backed their kickstarter.

It's all opinions so I won't try to force mine on anyone, but seriosly the music is incredible - even just when you do nothing, the ambient music that gradually changes depending on your actions is done better in RDR than most of today's games! I am replaying it right now and it still blows me away.

If I were rorie I would have tried to figure out a way to gel that wig up so it at least somewhat resembled the shape of ricks hair haha. Oh well he seems to be the only person who likes the series in the gb crew which is a shame, man I love rick n morty so much.

But Etrian Odyssey III came out that year (I'm only posting this because i'm watching Brad's Bombtastica).

red dead redemption is the only open world game that matters

I liked RDR up until the end. I had some sidemissions left but having to play as the fucking kid which everyone hated with him quipping 'just like you taught me, pa' every time he skinned an animal made me so angry that I had to stop play that game.

Have not had any streaming problems with UPF recently, but appreciate the transparency!

Cool to see Will and Regina on the show. They both seem like solid duders and it'd be nice to have them on regularly as some kind of "replacement" for Dave/Alexis.

Does anyone know what the shooter could be that was easier when released in Japan? Jeff seemed so weird about it when he mentioned it.

That descent game is right up my alley. It captures the feel, and descent looks like it translates well to a roguelike format. I also have a weakness for colorful voxels.

Indeed. Brad is so bad at video games that he's beaten several notoriously difficult games here on the website, on the hardest difficulties available .

Seems like he didn't name it because he was told about it during a lunch with friends. So my guess is it was not a known thing that they made it easier in Japan.

@jacoba: as proof he was so good at setting things up that they managed to run even with these chuckleheads, or that things were barely hanging by a thread without him and that they NEED him to keep it together? Either way i agree.

I was surprised that Rorie and Jeff kept ripping into RDR for the characters not knowing what "zombies" were, given that Red Dead takes place in...what, the 1890s? Early 1900s? So...70 to 80 years before George Romero invented zombies in "The Night of the Living Dead" movies.*

*And before someone tries say "Haitian Voodoo Zombies blah blah", I'm going to remind them that Haitian Voodoo Zombies have nothing to do with pop-culture zombies. They don't attack people. They don't eat brains. They don't "infect" other people with zombie-ism. :b

One could point at movie White zombie for that invented lumbering and attacking people part. Not the infection thing thou.

I just call them Bradisms. Over the years Brad has had these truly unbelievable moments. When the horse ran by him and Brad actively ignored it I honestly thought "man thats so typically Brad" - not as an insult or anything, it's just something that I can completely see happening uniquely to Brad alone.

Yeah. If only Brad's hair can be in video games, Triple H hair can pass the torch to Brad hair for the standard of video game hair.

I've been playing RDR: UN this evening (Halloween), and as Brad set up his game I thought I wonder if he'll pick RDR: UN?
