What a great unprofesh! Every segment was great, even Steep which I remember Dan being cold on at E3. Also it was nice seeing Rec Room again, if only for a moment. It will be back soon I hope. No joke, I'm considering putting Rec Room on my top ten this year despite not having played it or any other VR game just from watching the original VRodeo alone.

I also played that Elusive Target! I got it done though. I started in the Club as a Waiter, went to the bathroom and got a soldier disguise from the guard who went to the bathroom. Climbed up and out and went to the building across from the club where the lady talks on a cell phone, cleared out the two guys there, then waited and watched the street for the target. Once I saw the dot moving across the street below I knew it was time and looked for a good shot on her. I got one, lined it up, and took the shot. They searched for a bit so I hid in a basket and read Twitter until they gave up. I got away freely.

Outlier opinion: Marrakesh is a good map

Oh Vinny :( You took one for the team, for sure. And at the same time, made quite possibly the best 24 minutes of UPF ever.

Did Vinny break a bone on the top of his right hand? That was an extremely loud noise and there was a giant lump on top of his right hand? I hope he is okay because I have lots of pain in my hand just watching/listening to that wicked noise.

Ok, Vinny basically convinced me to buy Hitman, I know about all the other content, but falling off my seat laughing at what he did convinced me to drop the cash... He basically just went in swinging!

When I saw it live I wasn't looking and at first thought that Vinny accidentally threw the controllers Wii Nunchuck style because the noise was so loud. Then finding out he hit the TV stand in full swing, ouch!

This was pretty great all around, but poor Vinny :(

YOU PUT VINNY IN VR?! ARE YOU MAD?!

I woke up groggily and saw the hitman segment start and was super excited, I turned away for just a handful of seconds and "that" happened .. oh my what a shit show after all that work lol but I would love for them to do more segments like that even though this one didn't work out so well ... not even worry about the elusive target just try a normal escalation mission or something? We love watching the crfew play hitman I think it has been pretty proven!

I also think STEEP is a ton of fun I had a blast with the closed and open beta and will buy it as soon as the price drops. Simply just flying down the hill at incredibly insane speeds and restarting so quickly and being able to place yourself almost anywhere on the mountain very quickly is such a fun feeling! I grew up skiing and it was my favorite thing to do growing up and these days I am disabled and unable to ski but I miss it immensely and this game gives me some of that same feeling its a beautiful seeing the snow and reminds me so much of those memories I can't relive. The only complaint I have is you touch rocks for just halfa second and you are going to eat it. The game is a lot of fun though just for something to jump into to kill some time and speed down the slope at incredible speeds. I can't afford it for 60 bucks though so will have to wait but recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good skiing/snowboarding game.

Vinny and the drunken pub fight was down right the best segment in a long while. Poor Vinny's hands.

I get soo excited when we get the full crew together for the end of the year. I now can't wait for the 5 days worth of like 2-3 hour podcasts XD

This was the best episode of UPF in a looong while.

Great UPF. The biggest surprise to me was Alex using my hometown Kitchener as one of his go to Canadian cities. So weird.

I hope Vinny's hand gets better and we have the luck to see him goofing around in VR again while he's still on the West coast.

UPFs with the whole team together are great, this one is one of the best of the year.

@hilts: Don't actually do that. Use an icebag, or a bag of frozen peas. There's absolutely no reason to use a steak, it's a waste of food and super unhygienic.

Holy crap, I'm only 25 minutes into this and Vinny playing that bar fight game has me literally in tears. So good!

It ain't Giant Bomb unless Vinny fucks up his hand in some nightmarish fashion.

I feel kind of bad for the Steep guys. Regardless of if it's good or not. I even theoretically "knew" Steep came out at the beginning of December, yet when one lone copy showed up at work yesterday my reaction was one of "What? Huh?" to see it.

I dunno. Maybe they ran a lot of TV ads? Seems like Ubi kind of left this one to die on the vine though.

Bloody shame too. This is another genre that kind of went away. It deserves a shot at the same kind of comeback things like 2d fighters, platformers, strategy games, etc all got in the last six or seven years.

Ahh Vinny! Great stuff. In the Hitman segment I thought Jeff might get away from the combat when he ducked into that store, he could have run upstairs and there is someone there to knock out and take their disguise. Instead he stood his ground and paid the price. Brad for all his increased Hitman skill still stood around while the suspicion meter grew and everyone started looking for him, a bit more distance would have worked I think. Watching this and not yet having done the target I now have an idea to try out, off to the Marakesh.

And I'm back after a successful elusive target hit! I combined some stuff from UPF and added my own take.

I feel honored that Alex gave me a shoutout on my Ed Grimley comment in one of the best UPF segments in a long time. Totally made my night.
