As someone who grew up skiing (cross country and downhill) snow boarding felt very foreign to me when I first tried it out.

Really glad to see the preview of Steep. As someone who still plays Skate (a lot...) primarily to recreate snowboarding tricks and love the more realistic aspects of it, I'm really hoping that Steep is worth picking up for the freestyle elements. I loved Amped 2, but some of the challenges inevitably turned repetitive, which is what I had read that the primary downside of Steep is. I just want to be able to dick around and have control over all three axes in the air. I could probably spend hours doing that sort of shit--hell, I already do in Skate!

I've spent a couple of decades snowboarding and have to say it's initially more difficult than skiing--the first few days are not fun, but once you start to get turning down, it's simply a matter of improving on that base and becoming more comfortable. Skiing is initially easier but mastering is a longer road, going from pizza slicing to paralleling. Both are fun though!

Split screen hitman needs to become a feature!

I have terrible balance, but found Snowboarding easier than Skiing. For me, it was just easier to control one board strapped to my both feet rather than a ski strapped to each foot.

I love that Jeffs initial reaction to Vinny hurting himself was pure humor.
