I normally support Abby and think she does a great job. This quicklook however was pretty rough. Stop complaining about being there and just participate. It was pretty frustrating to have to keep hearing comments about ending the match and how long the quick look will be.

If my employees complained like that, they'd be written up. You are at work, deal with it, do the work. Jesus. We have a fun and exciting environment similar to you guys, why do you need to complain all the time?

What's being pointed out is the shittiness of him continuing to get royalties and promoted appearances despite being a pretty thoroughly bad person. The problem with Hogan is that he's a repeat offender at being a bag o' douche. Ratting out Ventura for trying to start a union, the recordings with Nick talking shit about the kid his son left a vegetable, the racist rant, the bullshit non-apology to the WWE roster saying he was sorry he was caught in a situation like that...being called out on it...and then saying anyone that didn't forgive him "didn't understand the brotherhood of wrestling." He's had multiple chances and keeps slipping up.

These faces all have that Star Wars Battlefront 2 "...it almost looks like them?" look. Just vaguely evocative of the real person.

There's no reason she couldn't step away or bow out and just stop talking to just run the show. Complaining over and over in the quicklook is just unprofessional. "uggh is this over yet?" is not a professional comment. Sorry, that's just my opinion.

Your last 5 to 6 comments have been about how you can't stand GB anymore and you're watching all the new GB so you know you can't stand it anymore. I imagine being a pissy baby about it is easier than actually not engaging in the thing you're no longer happy with, if your behavior is any indicator.

And to be fair to Dan, Jeff and Alex also did not want to keep it moving, when they were wanting to go through all the wrestlers, and watch the intros. Jeff and Alex both shouted YES!! when Abby asked if we're gonna watch and do all of these.

In the sea of the 3 rowdy wrestling fans, the 2 non wrestling folks would definitely feel out of place, and Mahardy barely said anything which is probably why her complaints stood out more to folks here in the comments. (I didn't mind to be honest, she was there to see the crazy glitches and it was the reason i even tuned in as well for this video)

As someone who doesn’t know the first thing about wresting or WWE and is just here for the bugs, I appreciate Abby’s questions and desire to keep things moving. The people complaining are absurd and really letting the mask slip on this one.

And when Mike and Abby went on about the NXT match going on and Dan refusing, Alex joked about how Dan wouldn't quit it. It was a joke, but there was enough resignation there (even for Alex) that he wasn't gonna fucking do it. The beginning where they go through the roster is pretty standard shit for their WWE QLs, but it was pretty obvious that by the time they got to the NXT match, they wanted to move along.

@curufinwe: I've been going through your comments, and you seem to have intense disdain for everyone and everything on this site. Why are you even here? By the way, nonplussed has a different meaning in the US, you pedant.

@random_dave_: you’re 100% correct. Hogan is a huge part of wrestling history and it would be absurd to attempt to erase him from a game that is actively trying to catalog that history. No one is defending his racism, as much as some people here might want that. We’re just saying it’s ridiculous to pretend like the impact certain individuals had can just be ignored because of something shitty they did or said. Also Abby doesn’t know anything about wrestling so she had no business being so talkative in this video, much less making sweeping statements like the one that started this insipid argument. Drew, Jason, and Jan have no problem running streams with minimal interjection.

5min in and everyone is enjoying themselves going over the roster, except for one. I understand wanting a 'every man' to counter balance the rest of the wrestling fans on this but she's just painful at this point.

@lukeyb: Thank you. I didn’t start off on the right foot, knowing this community. I don’t care about Hogan, my issue is her using her position to inject her politics into everything. Take the Disco Elysium QL. She was ignorant of knowing anything about the game and criticized it for a single portrayal of a woman character, when the very scenario happened because of her character build. She asks everyone to “trounce” Rousey in this video, why, for Rousey’s past criticism of trans people for which she holds a grudge? I feel like the community is militant to see these kind of attacks and progressive agendas pushed. You either step in line or you’re attacked and ostracized for any kind of disagreement or criticism. That’s where I was coming from, a frustration with the woke crap, and I knew already I’d be dog piled. I love GB and I’m not ready to let go of it yet but these issues of them appeasing a vocal minority unchecked are becoming harder to ignore.

When I was in high school I had a friend who loved to talk about wrestling and it was weird because I was a nerdy computer kid and he was one of the cool kids but he FUCKING loved to talk to me about wrestling and thought it was so bizarre. I always thought they were going to make fun of me but nope all we did was talk about wrestling.

This was during the WCW nitro and WWF days when people had just started to smell what the rock was cooking but wrestling was great because stone cold said so.

I've spent the past decade soaking up all MMA content so fell out of wrestling but it has an entertainment factor.
