The Cursed Crusade takes place at the end of the 12th century and follows the story of two warriors who have been afflicted by the Templar's Curse. The Curse threatens to burn away their humanity and accelerate their descent into hell. They must fight to save their souls! It will feature a two-player co-op online and local split-screen.

Both Denz and Esteban have light and heavy attacks and can unlock new combos with points earned in each level, player can change and combine multiple dual wielding weapons and a different slot for double-handed weapons like a great sword or a lance. The combat is totally grounded and feels like a mix of old Assassins Creed games combat and Batman Arkham games combat. Both players have access to a transformation named "Templars Curse" that doubles damage but can drain the character's health bar if the player stays in this form for too long. The game has also some simple puzzles like levers and objects to be pulled by both characters, as well as some turret and basic third-person shooting segments.
