    Overview

This concept covers games where players must make their way to a tall building, with the goal of revealing a map. Usually this concept applies to climbing a tower, however in games like Watch Dogs, it can involve getting to the base of said tower and hacking it instead.

This concept can also apply to where the physical locations on the map are already revealed, but interacting with the tall building reveals icons, corresponding to actions and locations on that map.

In addition, in Mad Max and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, climbing the tower does not reveal the icons, instead giving you a tall vantage point with which to scout the icons out for yourself.
